Trevor came home from hospital on Thursday , he still has a way to go , he handed his license as his sight will not get any better and his forgetfulness really would make driving dangerous .This is going to be a new chapter in our lives .Thank you for your continued prayer

Sign up straight away for the Transport services you will be eligible for.
Taxi vouchers and Ambulance car transport. These are not free but heavily discounted once you sign up.
It can be very costly getting to appointments if the are in an area where you are not comfortable driving yourself.
We had so many appointments one week it cost almost $400 in transport.
Seems each Specialist does a different day for appointments.
So pleased Trevor is home.

It will definitely be a new chapter and I and the rest of us will be praying for you. God's grace will carry the both of you. Any time you want to vent, do it here , we will listen. Patience as well as tears helps also. Many hugs are coming your way.

Monika, you both remain in my prayers. Although this will be difficult at times, you still have your Trevor with you.

Glad that he is home and that he gave up his license willingly. That can be a difficult issue to face. Hope you remember to take care of yourself as you enter this new chapter of your lives together....

How kind of him to give up his license on his own and make it easier on you. My FIL would not give his up and we constantly worried about his being on the road. Prayers for you both are going from me. Hugs. Nan

Oh! Monika, so sad when one has to give up their driving licence. I had to take Dad's away when he had Alzheimer's and I felt dreadful, but it was for the best. Losing your eyesight too is no fun. I pray for you too being his carer for patience and understanding. Make sure you get plenty of respite yourself. Love Chris
