I honestly have lost count. So many have now gone out of business.
Used to buy every week from Embroidery Library but not so much now as they keep having repeat sales.
I was noticing that from EL too. Glad they let you know if you have already purchased that design.
I thought I had more regular purchase sites, but not complaining - 46 is more than enough, quite a few no longer in business. I buy very little now, I can digitize plus I have a pretty huge inventory of designs. The file with all the free designs is another story, looks closer to 150 companies - and I donβt do any with inspired by or outright copyright violations, skip some listed here in freebies, am better at looking at a freebie and asking myself - is this better than what I already have.
I can count them on two hands. I have downloaded freebies from a dozen of different sites, just to try them out.
And before I came to this site I just bought designs at my dealer, sparingly as in the early 90s designs came on cards, and after that on diskettes and then on cd's and they had one thing in common: they were all terribly expensive. Funny thing is you used them more often than now - at least I do - now they have to be exactly what you are looking for. So I have more but am not as happy as I was when my choice was less.
More then I care to admit to. πππ
Two online. The rest in a store or at an event -7 more. Nine in total.
