Fantastic! I love it! Quilting is my first love, and there is no such thing as a mistake. Quilts are just loved they way they are!
I didn't know that I would like piecing a top so much. It's the cutting out that is hard on my back, even though my table is on risers. Then I found I liked free motion quilting when I was making so many bags. My grandmother always had a quilt going. My mother always sewed our dresses. I guess the quilting bug skipped her but I'm glad I got bit!-lol-I just finished my granddaughter's top yesterday. I think it would be a good slate to practice ruler quilting, although she may want it simple. To me, the top is a more modern piece, contemporary maybe the style, I don't know.
You are an amazing woman with all you do and accomplish. These QOV are so inspirational and everyone who receives one will love them always. Love Chris
Love it, Toogie. You have done a great job.

I love the double border and the star block. The colors work together so well with the print. Looks great!
Toogie, This is sew beautiful...………….I must say you are truly an over achiever...………..lol! I would never have the patience to do more than 1 block. I do admire all you do!

Millie, I have had half the blocks made since before Christmas. I just finished the others in the last few days, but it seems like it has taken me for-ev-er. I don't like stopping in the middle of a project, but I needed to make my guys' Christmas quilts. I do appreciate your nice comments. Right now I am just glad to be done with it. Someone else will quilt it. I also made the pillowcase today that matches it, but I didn't show.
Great work Toogie. I am sure whoever gets it will love it. Hugs
