These are for the colleagues of my son in law. Made the ones for the children a bit narrower. Thanks for looking, Mary

These are really great - is this your own design or did you purchase it somewhere?

This is just a design one can see in you tube but I just made some changes to fit what I thought is best for me and my family.

Nice job, Mary... So the long tie (about 55" long) is one piece that goes around the neck and ties behind the head...is that correct? Looks like the casing for the wire is made so the wire can be removed (?) What did you use a pipe cleaner or ???

Thank you Kim, yes, the tie is long enough to go around the head, pulled down the ears, then pull the bank on both sides to tighten them so no air comes in but I put the opening at the bottom so that the folds in the middle is easier to make, I tried a lot of designs and decided that for my family and friends, this was the most ideal. It also did not cause any fog on my eyeglasses maybe because through the folds you can breath and being tight no air comes out? I used a pipe cleaner which is firmer than the colorful ones used for crafts, and I now made the casing longer so that the whole length of the pipe cleaner can go in and be formed in the middle for the nose (I don't have such high nose :-)) and then the rest of the pipe cleaner can be pressed down the cheeks. Yes, I prefer to be able to take out the wire because I wash the masks everytime I come home in 60 degrees centigrade hot water by soaking it in a bowl with a mild detergent since this is going to my face. And the pipe cleaner, I put it in between a wet dish cloth and steam iron it. I also steam iron the masks once it is dry. If you have anymore suggestion, let me know. Love, Mary

pull the band, not the bank!!! The opening is to put an additional filter inside

I have also decided to charge 3 euros for the mask, I hope no one is going to scold me for this but friends know that I donate everything I sell from my sewings to a project I support in my country. I am not trying to sell for profit, that is why I am not charging more for this, it only covers almost the cost of the materials used.

I like how you used the ribbon. Can you tell me how long the ribbon is. When I sewed some of mine I had 20" on all for corners. I am sure your way I can cut down a bit on the ribbon. TY

Thank you. I used a cotton twill bond which can be washed at high temperature. I cut the band 140 cm which I find better because can pull the band tighter around the neck.
