Hi Cuties,
This is the third I've made so far, but I haven't posted the second one yet as I'm finishing it today. This one is for Aqualina and she is a lover, like me, of Purple and I've added the Aqua as her name is Aqualina. So much time is involved in these! Thankfully being self isolated I can do them. The design is from our Australian company called Sweetpea and is the free-form Backpack. 5 to go! These are all for the grandchildren for Christmas, except Dana said that not to make one for Ryke and when she saw it, she said she'd love it! So the blue one will be for her. Love Chris
1. Front view with tassels and beads on ties.
2. Flap up so you can see the lining with zippered pocket.
3. Back view, as you can see I don't have sliders to finish it off. Will try and get some soon.

Thanks so much Pam, yes, the colours go well together. Unfortunately the Aqua fabric is much brighter than the picture here is showing. I used the Aqua because of our grand-daughter's name. Love Chris

30988So pretty Chris! I like all the pockets and I counted at least 4 zips! I know she will love it! I love the feather stitching, wish I could do half that well free hand quilting. Colors are gorgeous,too.

Thanks Toogie, there are 5 zips in these backpacks. There's one on the inside lining! They take ages to do, as there's always something I've missed. I've been sewing for donkey's years, but when there are 2 machines going, one sometimes misses a step!!!!!!!!!!! So then - unpick!!! Love Chris
