What a Cute design..Must try it..Did download..Stunning!!!!
Your choice of different fabrics gives the design a special touch. Love it!!
trouble is if i make anything , ill have to keep it , as im not alowed out. , iv been making Christmas presents
Pam we are all in the same boat, all in this together. I’m just making right now, to keep going. I don’t get out either. I’m using from my stash. I only wish I had backing for a King and Queen quilt tops I have made so I could go ahead and quilt them.
Toogie this is great and your fabric has enhanced the design.
Oh, Toogie, it is precious! Perfect design for your pink and gray quilt! The baby is gonna love it for sure - I certainly do! Stay safe, well and embroidering! Hugs*, Deb
Now who said it was going in a quilt?!-lol
It is a prefect design. I love it! Did I say that already?-lol
Deb I finished my item with the lamb. You will have to see if you were right.... it's here in Projects, I just posted it :)
Hi Toogie, she is so cute, i like the fabric you used, hugs Maria
Little lamby pie is so cute---I would never have thought to use Minky---I love it.
Very cute lamb. Looking forward to seeing the finished project
Toogie this is so adorable!!! Thanks for showing us all... Great job. Love the colors too.
The colors were easy to figure I just looked at the design-lol- thank goodness I have all the supplies in my stash! The design is adorable, just like you say!
Toogie, she is so cute! I went and downloaded the design after seeing this. It looks like you used minky. Did you do anything special to avoid the stretch of the fabric?
Can't wait to see it all finished....Tonya aka stork
I stitched it like this and it did well. I used tear-away, float a not thick sew-in stabilizer in between, and placed my cotton on top, hooping it all. When it came to the minky,it was such a small piece, I smoothed it out by hand and it clung to the cotton, no problem. I hope to finish in the next few days. I’m glad you were still able to get it!
Thanks for the teaching lesson.....this is an adorable app and perfect for some baby items!
Now that's what I did here and it worked for me. It is such a sweet design for babies. My 2 great-grands started walking while we are quarantined!
Grands are what make us keep chugging on. I keep 2 m-f and the 2 older ones on m and 1 other day of the week as their parents are all considered "essential" by our governor. I sure wish I had a scrap of minkie to try this one out!
Tonya I barely had enough Minky to use. Thank goodness I buy ahead....although I could be quilting a King or Queen if I had the backing......I don't keep any kids right now. They sent me live videos of the babies walking. I remember when my youngest had cancer. Her first born learned to walk with us. She cried when she was able to come get him, (because we never told her), we let him show her. When we put him down, he walked straight to her! Sad and happy tears!
Well done Toogie, it looks so cute and such a happy face. It will bring lots of smile to whoever has it. Love Chris
I think it is such a cute design and stitched perfectly. I knew when I saw it I had to use it. Cyber hugs -Toogie
Oh, this did turn out so very cute!! Great job! It looks so very soft! Stay safe dear friend!! Hugs, Laura
Thanks Laura, we’ve been home so long but we are kinda home bodies anyway. Although I do miss a good meal out! Oh well, we can do this!
How cute is that. What did you embroider it on ? I have not embroidered anything but my little sewing machine is set up in the kitchen and I have just finished another batch of masks. Makes more then 100.
Oh my goodness Angie! You have been making mask!!!
If you mean the machine I used, it's my Brother PE750D. If you mean the fabric, then gray dot background is cotton, the face is fleece and the 'wool' is Minky. I think it's so sweet, too.
I thought all the different textures would be good for the baby to feel. Nora rubbed her satin edged binding until it was thin and all balled up.
