Turned out great! The lambs really spruce it up!
Some little girl will be very happy to have such a nice blanket.
Very good job both side!
Well done Toogie, it has turned out so pretty. Love everything about it, love Chris
Toogie, It looks wonderful!!! It will be a well loved blanket for the lucky recipient.
That is so very cute. It does not need batting it will be warm and cuddley just as is. I would have ripped a row out too, the lamb and flowers makes it extra special.
Oh, I just love this!! I always have trouble working with Minky! This is just lovely!!!
Thanks Laura, Minky makes such a mess. I keep the vacuum cleaner right by my work. I vacuum the cutting mat, the ITH when I trim, etc. but it is so soft....
This is so adorable--I have used Minky several times and easier than a person would think stitching on it. Mostly embroidery on squares and turned into baby blocks for family presents and for Community Baby Shower gifts. Yes, as you say, it can get heavy and you want it to stay soft and cuddly not stiff from adding batting. You did an excellent job and nope didn't see any gray stitches on pink you were talking about.
It's in the last picture I think it shows more when the stitches tie off. Thanks for looking.
Very cute, Toogie... love the addition of the lambys and flowers...

Perfect place for that lamb. I just love the material. Minky will make it such a cuddly cover. Great job
I was undecided to make a blanket or a quilt. I had batting and backing fabric in the gray dots for a quilt. However, I had never made a large blanket with Minky, just the Taggies. Surprisingly, it was easy to work with. Thanks for commenting AGAIN-lol
The addition of the embroidery is perfect. Such a beautiful blanket.
Beautiful, the embroideries make it stand out! I love the colours.
Mops my squares came from my dear old aunt. Poor lady, the so called squares were anything but square. I think she would be happy to see what I made with them, but never knowing I had to re-cut all of them.
I love to see Miss Veronika's designs posted in projects. It looks adorable and you did a great job in all of it!
I could not agree more. Projects looks like an endless list of ads for other sites and not a place to be inspired on using Cute designs.
Thanks, I tried using Cute designs in most of my bus gift projects one time. I had fun making the same thing, but each had a different look, because of the designs. There really are some Cute designs! ...now I need one just this cute for a boy!
Adorable Applique has some great soccer or hockey playing bears. And some astronaut bears and dogs playing baseball that would be great for an young boy. There are boys playing soccer (or football if you're "from across the pond"). There's a jeep and cars and a whole fleet of boats. There are out of this world UFO's and robots...
Here on cute, there's a set of a boy fishing,
