A monstrous task finished they are all fabulous bags and great colours the kids will love them, and yes you need to make one for yourself too.
They will be loved and treasured by your Grandchildren! I can see then making great nappy bags in the years to come ;-) ! A brilliant effort all round...congratulations!
I love all your backpacks Chris. They will be loved and treasured by your Grandchildren. Hugs
This one is just as lovely as all of the rest of them. You've done an outstanding job, as usual!
Congratulations on completing all the great backpacks. I hope your family love them as much as you have had making them.
Your backpacks are all lovely. Happy Stitching :-)
All the backpacks have been outstanding! Grandchildren will for sure love them.
Absolutely beautiful!! These are so incredible - I bet you can make one in your sleep - lol!!! Do you remember how many pieces of fabric you had cut out to make it? Love the colors!! Hugs and well done! Laura
Hi Laura, each piece is roughly 12x 10 , some are 8x9.5, then some of the the pocket linings are 8x15 (inches).
BUT!!! The amount of bobbins are roughly 5-6 per bag and that’s not counting the top thread. Plus hours and hours to make them. No wonder people who sell their wares don’t get their money’s worth. Love Chris
Well, Chris, I think we can now call you the Queen of Backpacks!
Beautiful as all the rest are. I still think you need to send SweetPea pics of all of them. They need to showcase your bags in their newsletter, you’ve done such an excellent job. I’d be you, I’d make me one too!
Hi Toogie, I answered you in my previous post saying I have sent all of my backpacks in to SP. I don't ask for them to be put in for a prize as Project of the week. I just love sewing them, they are addictive. Love Chris
I think you shouldn’t need to ask, I think they would want to show case them, they are so nice. It is great free advertisement for them.
