Hello there,

I crashed my computer and lost my copy of embird 2010.
the company has resent me my key (about ten times) but said that since its not supported I cannot have the original file (I started with 2008 and upgraded to 2010 some time ago.)

I run this in Vista on a mac and don't want to push it by upgrading to 2020

I am looking for a copy of 2010, which I have a legally paid for code/key and if that requires postage I would happily pay it.

any advice for how to better communicate with embird is welcome as well. I have been at this for three days.

thank you.

This is a company that has the 2010 download demo version. Maybe if you download that and then add your key you might be able to solve your problem. PLEASE let us know if this helped.

When you upgraded you would have been sent a code number which you could print out and type in yourself.
As for the program wherever you bought the upgrade from should have it in you folder of your purchases for you to just download again.

I can't help you either. I'm having a similar problem with my Magic Box. I have no clue how to save these "keys" that come electronically to get around this problem. It's expensive to "keep up to date" when the "old" version works perfectly...once you get a key.

Usually you get the key via e-mail. I create folders where I save the application-download and add the key. This way you can always reinstall assuming you have a back up when your computer crashes. Or create a text with all the keys.

Welcome to Cute. Sorry I can not help you. This is the reason why I keep the downloads of applications and make frequent backups. I truly hope that you will be able to have this solved.
