If it wasn't for the stripe no one would have noticed. This is why I only embroider plain coloured towels ,then if the designs end up being a few millimeters off ,very few people will notice.
So true...I am usually more careful...but at least I will get good use from it...
This is a lovely design and she is sure to enjoy it! I love how the leaves are two toned and look like they are moving. I had to enlarge it to see how that effect was achieved.
I had asked my BIL, who is a professional artist, about off centered items. Some are mechanically off center and others are visually off center. He said to go with the ones that are visually centered. I found that to be useful advice as sometimes when I think I have something centered visually, and my computer says it's not centered, I ignore my computer. Works for me!
This looks a great design and enjoy your new gift
I love the Bluebells. How many "error-keeper" towels do you have? She does a great job on her designs. I am addicted to her site!
I am not buying that slightly off center thing ππ. You just wanted an excuse π. Enjoy your towel. I did turn out beautiful.
What a pretty design!
I wasn't too sure when I began, but it sure surprised me... looks quite pretty in person...
I especially like the lightness of the design. Are you sure you didn't do the hardly noticeable off center on purpose so that you had an excuse to do another and keep this one? Were it for me, I certainly wouldn't have complained.
Oh, you make a good point... perhaps I did... hmmmm....
I wasn't too sure about this design, but after it stitched and I saw the finished embroidery, it is truly lovely...much prettier than I first had imagined...
