Lovely bag,Chris, looks complicated. Your choice of colors are lovely. Glad it is yours. Love, Mary
Hi Mary, not its not complicated, just ordinary applique. If you don't want to you can just use one piece of fabric and changed your threads! Love Chris
I love this bag and its colors. Your cell cases are grand also and I'd sure love to be in your 'group'. I love old Hymns also. My mother played the church piano or organ for as many years as I can remember and I, too, sang in church from a little kid age. When older I sang in my church Praise Choir leading congregation singing. The church I go to now has all young people that sing everything so loud and a lot of showmanship--I don't particularly like that--I feel it is more for a youth rally or something. That is sad for me. Here in the US at this time it seems everyone has gone crazy--there is no humanity among men or women. Everything has become racial not just that we are all human beings. The main news reports peaceful rioting but it is all lies---there is looting and burning of innocent people's businesses--a way to steal and burn. So sad. No respect for our President. No respect of any kind.
Thanks Patti, it's a sad world at the moment and I only hope that common decency will come to the fore. We are getting more and more freedom from the Coronavirus lockdown here in NSW. There are some isolated cases in Victoria and I think 3 now here in NSW which were in quarantine. Keep safe and well, love Chris
Hi Chris. I missed this post. Love love your bag. Great you got to sing in church and others enjoyed you. Hugs
Love the bag and colors. We are going to have our first church service on Sunday. It is being held in our parking area outside and you can sit on your chairs with your family but must be 6 feet away from others. You also have the option of sitting on the lower level of the parking area in your vehicle and listening to the service on a preset radio station.....not sure how this will all work. I am worried because we have such a senior membership and the heat could be a determining factor for safety sakes.
Thanks for commenting Tonya. What a fantastic idea and I hope it all goes off well for you. Love Chris
Congratulations on another great piece of work from SweetPea designs. Your other bags that you shared pictures with were fabulous and I didn't see any on the site as good as the ones you have created.
Aww, thanks Caroline. I loved the ones that Darlene Foots made. There was a black and gold one that particularly caught my eye!! Love Chris
Nice work Chris! My sister would like the reds in it too. I know you like black and whites but another color mixed in looks good, too. I would love to hear your singing. We sing the same songs here.
Your bag really does look stunning and why am I not surprised you have a lovely singing voice?! You are a very talented lady and use your talents beautifully! Congratulations!!
Thanks Bev, been singing in choirs etc. since I was 12! I love music, particularly gospel. Love Chris
This purse is so very beautiful - the colors works so well together - and the stitching - just perfect!!! When I read that you sang, "Holy Holy Holy" - my favorite hymn the words just came into my mind. Thank you for sharing! Hugs and stay safe yourself!!!
Thanks Laura, there are some marvellous hymns out there. Another one I love is To God be the Glory, great things he has done. There are some fabulous modern ones out there too and I love them as well. Living Hope by Phil Wickham (fabulous) Who You say I am, (Hillsong from Australia) You Say, (Lauren Daigle) these are incredible. Love Chris
We also love the old gospel songs. To God be the Glory is a beautiful hymn.
