You know, I only used Schmetz and Klasse for a long time. Now I use Organ size 12 embroidery and they work just fine! I had one last through about 120 masks! They are at least half the price. I buy them on Amazon packages at a time and that cuts the cost WAY down!
Some how my reply came out as a separate entry. Don't know why. Starts off "It's an investment..."
I purchased my Schmetz from Amazon - they are Schmetz India but I have had no issues.
The best I found were from www.AllStitch.net. I purchase a 100 of them at a time. They are the original "Organ Needles". You can get 75/11 or whatever size you want. I've been buying them for years from here and never had a problem. They are in Baltimore MD.
If you are in the US I would suggest looking at Mulqueen sewing (sewshop dot com) . They are in Mesa AZ and I have read online that their shipping time is fast coast to coast. Right now if you use the code "sewing" (don't enter the quote marks) there is 20% off online purchases. That makes the EBBR Organ 75/11 100 pack needles quite reasonable!
Being in Wales, UK/GB I am no help at all but I buy both Schmetz or Organ needles in boxes of 100 at a time. A much cheaper option and living where I do means I always have needles in. Happy shopping
My last order was for 100 needles, EBBR Organ 75/11 or 80/12 Embroidery needles (they have a larger eye than regular needles) on e-bay for $11.00 and that included shipping...
I always buy my needles from CTUSA. They sell 100 Organ Needles for $13.95 for sharps (other specialty needles will run you more) with FREE shipping in the US! These are great needles and I've been using them for years. They don't come in the snazzy plastic container, but in a paper wrapper with 10 to the pack. Click on the link below and go to "machine needles".
