Beautiful job,Toogie. Hoping your grandson continues to test negative. This is a bad virus. My daughter is now presenting with issues from her illness in March/April. But blessings to you and all of the cuties. I too am going through a depression that I can't seem to shake. But still trying to make daughter some protective surgical caps and additional masks, as she continues to take care of covid patients each day, and the numbers are increasing. Cyber hugs to you.
Donna I have thought about your daughter often, even ask about her in one of your comments but I’m sure you did’n’t see it. Anyway, if you need to talk to someone or me, please reach out. I’m sending you a pm. I hope you see it.
Toogie, your are an inspiration along with your quit.
Aside, as I'm flabergasted at how much you get done and everything is so perfect... but, just how big is that freezer that you can store all that corn?
Betsey you are right. We have an upright we’ve had almost 47 years and a newer chest freezer. Of course, there is a little freezer, at top of the refrigerator, too.
Hi toogie, you seem to do more on a bad energy day than I do on a good one! you are an inspiration for me.
Love your quilt. So uplifting. Are those sayings printed or embroidered?
They are printed on and you inspire me with your knitting, digitizing, things I can’t do. I also wanted to say your granddaughter’s hair is gorgeous!
What a inspiring quilt this is. Perfect to be covered in God's word. Toogie you are the busiest fatigued person I know. I am always wondering how you get all the energy to do what you are doing.
You give me too much credit. I have been just about worthless. I think 🤔 today I only cooked our meals. I feel like you about the quilt.
Prayers for you Toogie, You are amazing. I agree with jrob about your worst energy days. I think we are all exhausted by this pandemic situation. I know I am.
I know me too and sadly, the situation seems to be worsening again.
It's just hard to see people fighting for their lives and others taking their lives....
So very pretty, prayers for u and family, our nation in my area we are still going up viruses and deaths.
Sadly, here too Jenne. Keep praying that it will soon end, with a remedy for all. My heart goes out o those infected and effected, by this dreadful virus. Thank you. I really liked your Irish Chain, black on white. I always have been very fond of Irish Chains and yours looked so nice, just with the two colors.
It's a lovely quilted throw Toogie. Your worst energy days are to be admired. I don't know how you get so much done. Please take care of yourself and you know that I'm praying for Caleb. Big hugs sister!
Thank you! We heard yesterday 5 people around community tested positive. We are a rural small community, where everybody knows everybody.
I just heard Today of a couple about our age that have it. It’s not slowing down.
Keeping you and your family in my prayers. Please take care of yourself and rest when you can. No need to overdo and push yourself to exhaustion. Hugs. Nan
I think my mental exhaustion led to the physical fatigue. I was drained before, during and right after the funeral. I’m picking back up so don’t worry. I’ll be right as rain again soon. Thank you for keeping my family in prayers, especially remember Marsha& Richard...also Caleb our grandson that may have been exposed to a positive co-worker.
Wow! Toogie awesome work. I also pray that Caleb continues to be Corona virus free. It's a real worry with second waves occurring around the world. We all need to take note and I agree with the other ladies make sure you get some "me" time and take it easy.
Thanks for our little chats over the past couple of days. Love Chris
I always enjoy our chats too.
Thanks for prayers for Caleb, Marsha & Richard.
Yes, cases are rising with so many getting out unnecessarily. This will not be controlled anytime soon. The officials stated that from the beginning it may take 18 months to harness a vaccine. Just hope for any meds to work for those already have it. So many, too many have already died.....
Amazing quilt full of wonderful sayings and verse, hoping Caleb stays healthy. Try to give yourself permission to take it easy for a while or you will burn yourself out. Marian
I think perhaps, my burn out is over. So many emotions at one time can be as draining as physical work. I think working keeps my emotions at bay but there for a while I didn’t even want to work. I know I have to pick back up or I will get physically sick, so am trying. Thank you for Caleb.
Another wonderful quilt Toogie!! My doctor says, if you are tired - it is your body trying to tell you to take it easy. Rest - take a nap.... you work so hard and take such good care of your family - please take it easy, other things can wait a day or two!! Prayers for Caleb - hope he continues to feel well! Take care - rest and Hugs, Laura
I am still not in full swing, so to speak, but your doctor is right. I have to ‘ dust myself off and get back up’ or my resistance will be low and I will become physically sick. I know your dr is right because it has happened before. Being aware makes you try harder, so don’t worry about me. I’m fine. Y’all all give me too much credit. There are days I’m just plain lazy. Don’t do a thing.
Received a good news text first thing this morning, from next to oldest grandson. Dustin passed his State license test! He is now officially a Registered Nurse! He had passed all his college exams but had to wait until the state started test for licensing again. I told him he should never be out of work. Yea!!!
It is lovely, Toogie... hopefully your grandson will continue to be healthy...
Toogie it’s good to hear from you but sorry to hear about your grandson . What a worry for you all. I had a long chat to my neighbour today and she said currently she finds it difficult to motivate herself. Keep sewing and while you think your not doing much I am always amazed at the amount you do.
Yeah! What she said! That quilt didn't just happen by itself. Absolutely beautiful and very cheerful, too.
Thank you both. I am very concerned for my grandson and family. This afternoon I heard of 5 people in our community testing positive. All are about 30-50 yr olds.
