Dewey will look great when finished. Looking forward to seeing him. Hugs
I am Impatient so I did Google and found Dewey which I really liked. He is abt 22 ins high so asked my son if that was too big and he said no and the bigger the better, I will as asterixsew suggested by adding some items which will make noise. This image is Dewey. Thank You all and will take a pic when finished. Stay Safe, Lyn
I think he’s a crocheted clown. He is so colorful and much cuter than the Benson plastic dummie that Gus has. Perfect choice. Please show us when you get him made.
Hi from Wales. My knowledge of knitting is very basic but thinnking of taggy blankets for babies you could use a selection of different textured yarns and into parts of the inside add a bell in one limb and a large clean empty crisp packet cut in to a smaller bit makes a great scrunchy noise when squashed. As the recipient cannot see the finished item its going to be how it feels is the important part. I will keep thinking about this and add more. Sorry I often come up with weird and wacky< but i look forwards to seeing what you come up with. Is it worth a look through Pinterest? Have fun
Thank You for your suggestions from Wales-Love your Country. I will keep the suggestions in mind. Love the idea of a little bell.
In Google type “knitting clown patterns”.
You will find many to choose from. Hugs - Roberta
That's the first thing I did too. My kids were always telling me, "Just google it, Mamma."
Thank You. I did google and think I have come up with one. It is 22 ins high so asked my son if that was too big. He said "No, Actually the bigger the better". So this might be the one.
