Beautiful job, Carol... Love to see the back!
Thank you the back is made from the border fabric I had over from the 50 shades a purple quilt but I will certainly send in a pic of the back not quilted though just sewn down the middle and the sides stitch in the ditch method
Just gorgeous. Your choice of colors is perfect. I did not intend to spend any money for embroidery files but now I have second thoughts. 😊😊😊
Thank you yes I swear not to buy anymore designs then something always comes up that I just have to have
Love it and nice to see you here again:):)I love your runner the best color in the world in my head lol xx
Awesome work Carol. There are some fabulous designs on there. I made the Poinsettia table runner In January for my ladies Christmas luncheon this year. Love Chris
Oh, my, this is gorgeous and I love the purple and green! I have this design and you have inspired me to use colors other than red and green.
Thank you I was going to do it in red but did not have the variation of reds but yes it is different. It just might look great in yellows as well
The shading of your fabrics is wonderfu! Nicely done!
What a super piece of work. Lucky daughter
This is beautiful!! I can't imagine making this ith!! It is simply stunning! Hugs!!
Thank you. there are 14 triangle blocks each block one hooping some blocks with two colours and some blocks with three colours. It comes together very well Seems strange at first but she has good instructions and pictures
This is so pretty Carol. It makes it look like it was paper pieced. I found maybe what you said was the original designs, but I didn't see the one called twisted log cabin. They look the same only different shades of fabric. Anyway, too big for my hoop but very pretty. A+ job!
ps-Just an afterthought, right now if you spend $15 the IHQ Pinecone Christmas runner will be added to your cart FREE too
Thanks Toogie. the triangle blocks are called twisted log cabin block you get lots of variations some time ago I googled twisted log cabin and tried to do it just by looking at the picture it did not work and got very excited to see it as an ith design so just had to try it. I think it came out quite nice
I think it did too! I just don't have a big enough hoop. I would have to have a paper pieced block and then learn paper piecing-lol
