Hi Cuties. I have been peeking in for many many years enjoying your projects and conversations. This is my first time to join in conversation. I have an older Baby Lock Ellageo (2005). I used it a lot at first but mostly have only used it for sewing. Now I'm ready to start again but due to computer upgrades I no longer have a program to show me what my designs look like. Are there any FREE and very inexpensive programs out there that will do that for me? Thanks in advance.

Do you remember what the name of your old program was? Bernina used to have a free program, but I don't know if it is still available.

I found that when I started, the free program was ok. But, as I started wanting to do things like change size or colors or rotate a desgin, I needed something more sophisticated. I now use Embird. You don't have to buy all the moduales, just the ones you want.

Welcome to Cuties! People on this forum have tons of info and years of experience to help you out when you need it.

As you have experience with a program that lets you see what your design looks like, you might want to download that again. However, I encourage to get a program that not only lets you see a design, but make some editing changes like setting size, rotation, editing colors. As you get more experience, you'll probably want to do more with the software.

Hi 'gammi", welcome to the site and I'm so glad you decided to join in on the conversations. I use "Sew what pro", but am an Australian and paid about $65.00USD for it. I just use the iconiser so I can see the images. Goo luck with it all, love Ch

Welcome to Cuties! I hope you can find what you need. I think Embrilliance has something like that called thumbnail that lets you view all your embroidery files. I think it is around $50. For Mac computers there is Stitch Buddy about the same price I think. It works great for me.
I know there are others.....
Glad you decided to join in the conversations. This is the best place in the world - literally, we are all around the world!

Hi and congratulations on deciding to join in. What program were you using to see your designs previously? I dont know the machine that you have so cant give help there but I am sure that someone will be able to help. I will keep bringing your question to the top of the list when I come onto Cute for a few days.

One of the best kept secrets on Cute is that there are many folk like yourself who come and peek and do not speak. Glad you spoke up. We're nice people and welcome all to the conversation. Giving you a flower.

You may want to check out this one. Hope this helps. Maybe others will have additional info. Also if I recall correctly the USB does not accept anything over 1 gig.
