My creative juices are being squashed by puppy. She is teaching me not to just put down my knitting for a moment, but make sure it is up high. 3 times I had to chase her through the yard and 3 bamboo needles hit the dust. Fortunately this sweater is aimed at 18 month so I have a chance to get it done in time.

Years ago when we got a puppy it was a chewer of every thing. My husband had an old sheepskin steering wheel cover and that was given to puppy and nothing else was taken after that. Eventually the sheepskin was totally torn up and puppy by then had grown out of chewing.

Here in Australia we can buy Pigs ears that have been dried and look like really hard leather maybe you can get something like that where you live.

I purchase big cow knuckle bones. She loves chewing on them. That helps. Hopefully she will outgrow the chewing soon. Glad you had success

Oh the joys and perils of a puppy. I was lucky, only had one spool of embroidery thread partially destroyed.

That is not too bad. I heard of people loosing numerous shoes. Coco also loves to shred paper, so I let her have occasionally junk mail.

Oh my😳I know puppies like to chew and I’m sure you have her chew toys. I’m sure she pushes you to your limit, when she’s mischievous, but makes up for it, when she’s good. Kind of like a rebellious child.😉😂

So true. My Vet that comes to the house keeps reassuring me that she is the best behaved puppy she has come across in a while.

Oh gosh! My puppy destroys everything she can get in her mouth too! While aggravating at the time, they sure can be a lot of fun! I'm finding apple cider vinegar to be helpful. I put it in a spray bottle and if she is chewing something like the wall (yes, she chews paint off the wall especially on corners) I just give the area a short spray and she leaves that area alone...but there are a lot of other corners in the house so she has found out...

But yes, when she good, she's a fantastic puppy too!

Oh my. I guess I am lucky. She is generally very good and loves laying next to me. The only other thing she loves to do is dig holes in my lawn, I can live with that and I am sure she will outgrow that also.

well maybe she tries to keep your condition healthy by letting you chase her through the yard. A new stay-fit program....
Perhaps crochet instead of knitting in that case you only use one needle....🤣🐾🐾

Oh my! Your puppy is giving a whole new meaning to a tangled web. I hope she learns crafting manners soon. I know it has to be very hard on you having your creative juices squashed, not to mention the expense of replacing needles and yarn.

Fortunately I have an abundance of yarn and needles (Left overs from having had a yarn shop) but she already cost me a $ 2000.00 vet bill having something digested that only slowly made it through her system. She does have a calm time of the day (right now) but it is pretty short

True. She loves sticks specially from the rosebush and apparently bamboo. Good thing is that my shoes are save.
