Oh, I can see where they would be time consuming - but they are so adorable! The polar fleece is perfect for the hair! Hugs!
Oops, my second post - just goes to show how much I like them!!!!
You knocked it out of the park with these little guys! I can see where it'd take a lot of time to get them so perfect, and the idea of a swivel head was super. Love them...and so will the children.
I am not sure how I had missed them before. They are absolutely adorable. Love your fabric choices. They also remind me of angels. I bet the kids loved them.
I have this design but have yet to give it a go largely because of the faux fur wig. I LOVE what you did for the hair here. I have been trying to figure out a mashup to do something similar! Do you mind to share with me how you did the hair here??? Thank you!!!
The hair is from another site... if you P.M. me (Inbox above to dragonflyer) and I will give you the information.... and Big Welcomem to Cute!
So cute. Love how you did the hair. I am going to attempt to do one for my niece. Where can I purchase the hair design/pattern?
Cute, cute, cute! I love them, Kim. You have done an amazing job.
Hugs, Lidia
Love how you did the hair. Really want to attempt one. Have 2 grand daughters due in March. My daughter n daughter n law are both due days apart. My daughter wants something rainbow for the babies before this one she is carrying. We shall see If I am brave enough to do one.
Thank you for your kind words, and welcome to Cute! Congratulations on your upcoming new grand babies! I hope you will be brave enough to make these lovely Swaddle Sweeties...they are really not difficult and we are all here to help you!
How sweet these are. I am glad to hear how you analyze and do your add-on things. Your stitch-outs always amaze me.
Thank you, Patti...haven't seen you here for a bit...good that you are able to visit again....
I am slow these days--waiting for a Dr. office to call me with appt for biopsy. I have 5 Christmas present projects all laying out and working a little at them all. Will try to remember to post some pic's in the near future. Seems I can occasionally find 5 seconds to myself to answer but give flowers to all. I think everyone's projects are amazing but some in particular. That little tooth fairy pillow you made just came in handy as my great grand Scarlett just lost her first tooth--age 6 y/o. She called me so excited she can use her pillow for the fairy now! Thanks Kim. Will have to make one for the almost 4 y/o so if anything happens she has one from her Granny also when the time comes.
These are adorable! You have done an amazing job. The kids will love them. Heck, I love them!-lol
Oh Kim, you did such a wonderful job of these. They are so cute and adorable. Am sure they will be loved. Hugs, Mary
Oh my gosh, Kim.....these are adorable and love your fabric........these look so squishy and soft!
Thanks, Vicki...fabric has become the challenge these days to be sure...This is some I have had for a long time....
They are really cute makes me wish we had little ones to sew for hugsxx
I went and bought the design on planet applique. do you have this type of hair design I can buy? or can you tell me where you bought the hair design on this doll? I am going to be a new grandma in January
What a talented person you are!
Amazing job for sure, love any single one of your sweet babies, they spell love and happiness.
Lucky kids to have you in their life. Hugs Roberta
WOW!!! Kim, these are amazing, the work that is involved in all of them is mind boggling. Your attention to the small details really make these dolls so individual. Are these for some of your great nieces?
Another question - are you making any dresses for the great nieces for Christmas?
Love Chris
Thanks, Chris, for your very kind words...yes, these will be for my great nieces and I will add their names to the swaddle wing...Not sure about Christmas dresses this year...so much going on these days. Perhaps for the littlest ones...
Yes, I understand. I’m only making Ophelie (the blue one on my page is Ophelie’s Christmas dress and I’ll make a yellow one for Delphi) and Delphi dresses this year. Aqualina and Jasana said they didn’t want one. Love Chris
I love these babies they are so very cute. Love your hair choice too.
How sweet are they. I think they will be loved to pieces.
Using polar fleece instead of fake fur was a good choice as I am thinking they could now go through a washing machine if need be.
Well done
Thanks, Barb...yes, they needed to be slobber proof for the littlest ones....
These are adorable! I'm not a kid but I love them too!
Thanks...I think they are so very cute...I will add the kid's names on the swaddle wing when I do them....
What a darling project! Yes, kids will love them! All the little details are just perfect and the little ears made me smile. Your talents continue to amaze me!
They are all adorable. I got those design too plus the hair on a different site but have not tried it all yet. When I do, I may have some questions for you!!! Hope that would be okay! Lovely stitching!! Hugs, Laura
Thanks, Laura...and when you get to them, feel free to ask if you have any questions...
