I only lived through several bad rain storms (so far from the coast), so I have lots of limbs and leaves and tree pieces to pick up. I think we've almost seen the last of the rain - maybe by tomorrow morning.
Now, she's probably 6 or more hours from the beach. But, I'm hoping she'll check in, as she has been mighty quiet lately.
I wondered how you faired, so thanks for letting us know. We got some nice breezes and winds. My nephew is still without power😳😟 from Laura. A brother in law got his back on sometime last week.
I wondered about those who were hit so hard by Laura. I remember all too well how hard it was for the folks who experienced Michael and long they waited for help. I'm so sorry your nephew is still struggling.
Wonderful news that you "weathered the storm" so well. Stay safe, Hugs*, Deb
Wish we could get some of the water here to pour on the fires. Glad you and hubby are Ok and drying out.
I wish I could send the entire west coast lots of rain. i worry about you. Have any more fires started. I saw a map last week and it was mind boggling to see so many.
There was so much rain - I am happy you and your handsome hubby are safe! One of my brothers lives in Tallahassee and he couldn't believe how much rain they got there - so yours must have been a serious downpour!!! Hugs, Laura
Three days of very heavy rain, but already drying out. Our rivers will crest tomorrow. A lot of flooding in the area. We are high up so out of the flooding.
