Such devastation caused by Laura and others recently and first res-ponders have such a huge part to play in restoring the lives of those impacted by any tragedy....please let him know how much his efforts are appreciated even by those who have not been personally impacted... We need them all...
Wow! Toogie, what a long time to wait for electricity to be put back on. So thankful for our utility workers. I pray that he will get plenty of rest after working such long hours. Please thank him for me. Love Chris
I can not imagine how much it has cost him for fuel to run the generators. Also, mosquitoes are so bad after the storm you canโt sit out very late or early morning. I know the heat was unbearable hot, especially at night trying to sleep with no AC and no breeze though a screened window. So glad he is powered up again.
I sure will pass on the message to Dalton. I know he has worked 70 hours in a week before and said itโs all he could do to come in, shower, & go to bed. I said what about eating?๐ณ He said the company would either provide them with a card to eat on, if any place was open, or sometimes have a big cookout for them, if they were going straight from one storm to another.๐
Yea on your nephew finally being able to rejoin the 21st century. I'm sure it has been a very difficult month. And a huge thanks to Dalton. I wish he knew just how much he and the results of his work is appreciated.
Yes, Iโm sure it felt like a new world having power again-๐๐ and Sam wanted to go home last week even though no electricity. Iโm sure he missed his dad and the familiarity of his own home. Ashley said the day Sam went home, she had forgot to tell Grayson and until he was about to go pick him up to bring to their house, for his shower. ๐๐
Iโll let Dalton know how appreciative most people like you are. I just want him to be safe, when working long hours, he canโt afford to be careless.
This truly has been a rough hurricane season. That took a long time for your nephew to get his electricity back on!!! Tell Dalton, we all want him to be careful!! Hugs, Laura
It has taken a long time for sure Laura, but so many lines and poles were down. He is the last one in our family, that I know of, to get power restored. Our son is voluntarily going tomorrow to help cut up and clean up some trees that are down from the storm. I will tell Dalton, thanks Laura.
