Thanks for the poem Jan. It's always good to hear positive words. Love Chris
There is so much to pray about. My list is getting longer all the time. I totally understand your prayer. Thank you for sharing. Hugs
Amen. A nice prayer...and an answered prayer.
My heart was so heavy last night, I called my dh's brother two hours away about their brother Douglas. I speak almost daily with Douglas's wife Jennifer. She said even though she has given him his pain meds, it's not controlling the pain. He has had a bad week of it. The doctor has said his time may be about Dec or January, but he also said he is not God. Jennifer said if it keeps going like this last week, she thinks it could be sooner. My dh and the brother I called have just now left to go over to see Douglas. Jennifer called about noon and said Douglas was having a better day today, so maybe the 3 brothers can have a good visit and Douglas's spirits will be lifted. Cancer is such a torturous disease. I am sure the pain medicine will have to be increased or changed again, even though what he is taking is already strong.
So yes, thank you God for this brand new day and for Douglas's pain to be lessened today. Amen.
Thank you Angie. My heart just goes out to him and Jennifer. It’s so stressful watching him go down.
Hi Toogie, I pray that Douglas' pain does dissipate and that he doesn't have to suffer too long. Love Chris
That is so sweet, Toogie. I'll pray for Douglas and his whole family. Cancer is so horrible, so horrible. I lost my sister at 33 years old leaving 3 little girls. Life was so hard for them without their mother. Even though the whole family helped raise them, they still had a hard time without her.
