Oh how do I love this one! Great job Kim!
(I thought I had commented before but I don't see it.) I hate to write a lot and then forget to hit Submit. May have been what I did. Anyway, the child will so love this doll.
Nora just turned 7 in July. She SAYS she is giving up her blanket when she is eight. We will see. Her mom took her picture just last night, when she went to sleep. Had that blanket on her head. Took her gown off. Just sleeping in her undies, covered with the quilt I made her up to under her arms. I guess it was just too hot to keep a gown on, when you have a blanket wrapped around your head and a queen quilt for cover in summertime!-lol
Thanks, Toogie...I do the same thing sometimes...hate it when I forget to hit "submit"...grrr.....
Love this cute baby, Kim. As usual, you did a great job. Wish I could make such a cute one as well. Love, Mary
How lovely, have you made this pattern . it is very good. xx
Hugs Pam
These are so cute. Sadly I have one little great grand girl scared of dolls for some reason and her toddler sister loves her babies and princesses still. You've done a marvelous job enterwining patterns and figuring out the magnet thing. I haven't posted in a long time but will today or tomorrow [I hope].
Absolutely too cute. How is the pacifier attached?
By placing a small magnet at the mouth area in the head, then a small washer in the center of the pacifier...I think many use a magnet in the paci too, but I felt it was much safer to sew a metal washer inside of the pacifier so there is no chance a child might swallow a magnet...I put the washer in the paci while still in the hoop and I have digitized a triple run around it to really secure it inside...and the metal washer is less expensive than a magnet too...Bonus!
Adorable! Where can you get the pattern for it or did you design it?
So very Cute!
The baby dolls are from Planet Applique...this one is a combination using the Lovey body and the Swaddle Sweetie head...
Oh toooo cute! How difficult are they to make? Hugs. Nan
