Gosh! Your points are so perfect! I'm anxious to see how you finish it!
Not working on this a the moment, enjoying doing some sashiko table runner maybe to use at Christmas time, I worked out some new ideas to help keep my lines nice and straight. ( this was paper pieced)
Hi Jenne, I'd do the opposite to what you've already done. I'd have the main colour cream and the contrast brown, but I'm interested to see how you are going to fill this circular piece that's already done.
As you are going to put 4 different browns in the centre I'd put similar tones for the outside/main body of the quilt, anything that has Autumnal tones!
I'm like Toogie below I'd need more information as to what you are wanting it to look like. Is this for a single, double or queen size bed etc. etc. Love Chris
I’m not sure because I don’t know what you envisioned.
What was your intention when you started? Does this large circle cover most of the top of the bed? If so, what do you intend to fill the center with? I have seen blocks with flying geese that would possibly work in the outer corners or maybe all the way around. What size is this circle?
I’m sorry I’m full of questions but I can’t help without knowing more information. I may not be of any help anyway but I don’t mind trying.
First, the radius is 34" across the center, this will be a medallion quilt I thinking of doing the center in 4 different creams (white on white fabric) a very narrow bias in the brown around the outside edge of the flying guess have a beautiful brown with greens and rust with a small amount of goldish tan plan to pick up these colors, perhaps a stripe borders with flying guess in the corners? not sure about that .
