A cousins daughter became a mum on as lockdown started. Late March 2020. This is his first grandchild and is very special so I made Aida a taggy as I love making taggy blankets. A lack of open fabric shops so I used the lovely ladybird fabric which was left over from dresses for my grand daughters. The little girl is growing fast and is now able to enjoy this. Apologies it looks as if it needs a good press but I am sure after traveling to first my cousin and then his daughter and being squashed the lack of pressing wasn't noticed

I love the taggies. I used to make some for our community baby shower. Was fun to do.

I love these! I wonder what is the fabric and do you put anything that crincles inside?

For the embroidered layer I use a soft fleece and the reverse a fine cotton so that the whole taggy can be washed should it ever need a wash

What a nice gift! And who doesn't like ladybugs, especially such cheerful ones. And even if it were pressed, it would look loved at arrival.

I love the material you used. Thank you for posting this. You gave me the idea for a additional gift for my upcoming great-grand. I think these are also perfect for a fast baby gift

Taggys are great fun to make but they do take a while to produce with all the cutting up of ribbon etc
