You did such a good job, specially in your choice of thread colors to compliment the colors of the towels.
They look great! I am a hooper, never tried not hooping. Towels are my favorite to embroidery on. The next 3 will be just as nice too.
Great start Sarah. The towels turned out really well. Sometimes it is good to wait a while before tackling a project
I am not so sure Angie, I was getting more nervous by the day. I am now really looking forward to finishing the last three
I like Santa going in head first!🤣
Good job, I don’t like stitching on towels but have done it before.
Cute designs. Towels are such fun and especially with Christmas designs. Hugs. Nan
Ooh! Sarah, these are just gorgeous. I love the Santa stuck down the chimney and all these colours are so serviceable. Great work and I'm looking forward to see the rest now. Love Chris
I was so disappointed when I saw the towels as being so dark I thought that the designs would not show up. All turned out better than I was expecting. Hopefully I will finish the last ones on Friday
Keep going you will soon be done there awesome so far:):)
Oh, I love these - so very festive!!! Your friend will love them!!!
Your design choices are great on thes towels! I'm looking forward to the rest of them. These towels seem to have an unusually high loft. Were they difficult to hoop?
Penny, they are extremely thick. I actually never hoop anything. I use a good quality tearaway and a tiny bit of spray adhesive and masses of pins around the edge.
I have tried in the past to hoop things and I can never get the items straight
They are all great but I especially love Santa stuck in the Chimney!!! Reminds me, I have a bunch of tea towels I could embroider too!
Thank you for your comment. When I was sewing them, I also thought of tea towels as well. The only thing is there are many stitches in the Santa
Great work Sarah and most cheerful
They actually look better “live”, the camera makes the colours dull. Thank you for your comment Caroline
