Toogie! this is just tooooo wonderful! IT is going to make a huge difference and make it easier to take Avery all the places1. I am so happy they were able to get this! God is GOOD!
Yes He is Jan! And he will take care of His children (you and Willie). I just read your post.
I love all the smiles. Nora looks great. and what a difference the van will make for them. so glad they could visit on your birthday!
Beautiful family! I am glad they were able to purchase the van and get the modifications.
Thank you for the pictures. What a wonderful van and it is going to be such a help for you all. I wish the family many happy and safe traveling hours.
Awesome van! The pics are wonderful! It is hard to believe how fast children grow up and how quickly time goes by. Nora is so adorable. Best wishes to you all!
I can hardly believe it either, it seems it was not that long ago she modeled that backpack I accidentally made. It was suppose to be a case like the saving kits when her dad suggested I put the straps on and make it a backpack. Thank you!
Ashley is certainly a beautiful industrious young lady. I know you are so proud of her!
Nora looks adorable with the hair cut, but you're right, she does look older. Where's Gus?
That pretty van was a God send to all of you, I know. I'm so glad she found it.
Gus is in the van, on the side behind Avery. Can’t you see him on the phone?🙄He looks at toys and shows me or Ashley he wants that for Christmas 🎄 . The trouble is he wants it all!
I love Nora’s hair and wished mine looked that good. I have Covid hair. Need a cut bad.
What a cutie Nora is! And the van is perfect-we all know God put it in their sights. What a great daughter you and hubby raised. Hugs. Nan
Thank you Nan maybe you can tell but I am pretty proud of her. Even her two older sister and brother have come to her for advice.
What a great van Toogie and I'm so glad it's all worked out so well. God knew what they needed and He provided for them. Nora looks gorgeous with her new haircut and so does Ashely. I love her blue eyes! God bless you all and I pray that that the home schooling goes well. Love Chris
When Ashley went to college I wanted her to be a teacher so she would be off when she had children and they would be off at the same time. Ashley always liked the medical field so went for physical therapy. Anyway, she is really doing well with home schooling Nora. This is Gus’s first year but Nora has never went to public school.
My dad and my dh’s mom both had blue eyes. Ashley’s are really blue, although mine are wired, hazel with a darker blue outer ring and her dads are brown.
That was a beautiful picture of your family for your birthday. I know you were just bursting with happiness.
Terrific van, so glad they were able to find it! Surely would make life easier. Nora is a lovely young lady. And Happy Birthday! How wonderful to have a visit for this special occasion.
Thank you, yes they were my only visitors. Nora made me a card while they were here even though they had bought me one. She wanted me to have one from her. I dated the back and of course will save it.😍 yes, I know the fact that they can just wheel Avery in helps so much. I didn’t want either of them to start having back problems, having to lift her.
Continuing for Karen-
New Lipstick
Covid hair (longer-lol)
Thanks for sharing. Ashley is a beautiful woman whose love just shines forth. I'm glad friends and families are helping with the expenses on the van. I know it is not easy for them but love makes all things bearable, doesn't it!
Yes it does and they really work hard for what they need. Since Covid Graysons check has went down a lot. They are not letting him work the hours that he did, so they are feeling the pinch.
I know the van was a God send for them. It does make things easier. I never had one but have a friend who had one while her son lived. He was bed and chair bound and total care. It was the only way she could get him out once in a while .
That’s how it is with Avery, total care. We used to be able to just lift her out of her chair and put in a large car seat in my car. Can’t do that anymore. God does provide and we thank Him for it.❤️
What a great van. Your daughter must be very happy with it. Avery's wheel chair fits in just perfect. Hope she sells lots of apples. Nora has grown up so quickly. Hugs
She has a lot of friends and people know it all goes toward the van modifications for Avery, so they want to help. She has so many orders right now she has posted if you order this week, don't expect them until next week. She did a fund raiser for Easter a year ago an
Great van for them - so happy they got it! I love Nora's haircut and she does look tall for 7. Love her smile!!
I do too Laura and love her laugh. Her mom and dad are both tall so I guess she will be too. Her mom was always tall for her age too. I am happy for them too. The chair still has to be strapped down but at least it's not in the weather and loaded separately. The main thing is no lifting for Ashley or Grayson. Avery is almost , oh gosh I forget, fifteen I think and she is heavy. Too heavy for me anymore.
Isn't it amazing how God provides for needs when least expected. Love Nora's Haircut. I am always surprised how much the children have grown..
Ashley has been saving and planning for so long, because the other van was giving them trouble and she was afraid she would break down, on the interstate with Avery.
I like Nora's cut too. I know kids grow up but seems like it wasn't that long ago she was little chasing the ducks in the yard.
Nora's smile lights up the room, doesn't it. I'm so glad Ashley has the van. I know Avery is a full member of the family and it's great she is mobile and able to visit thanks to those beautiful wheels. These pictures make me smile to see the joy, love and happiness your family shares.
Oh Karen you how I love them! Ashley had stopped working the last couple years Avery was home. It just got too hard. Now she home schools Nora & Gus, too. She had to find a supplemental income so started selling beauty products. Here is a couple of her advertisement pictures. Oops! Won’t let me upload here so maybe look above.
How wonderful is our Lord who provides for us. Bless them all and you Toogie. Lynne in OZ
Amen Lynne! Ashley and Grayson are true servants and are raising their children in a godly home. The executor of the estate really was kind and sold the van at a good price to them. The family thought the van wouldn't sell as quick because it was modified for a wheelchair. Sadly, there is a demand but so good Ashley found it.
Hi Toogie and thanks for sharing your lovely pictures. I can see why this car is so useful for taking Avery out and about, plus everyone else
I am so happy for them to have found this one. The handicap modifications are so expensive! They are almost the cost of the van by itself, ridiculously expensive, but then most anything to aid medically usually is. Avery goes everywhere they go, because I was their only sitter for her. Since Avery coded I almost have panic attacks if I have to stay with her.
