Love your Christmas stockings and hopefully its not your last
Good job! Love the denim, too. The red bias looks great on the denim. I always make my own too.
Thanks, yes the bias I make is so mush nicer than that you buy, however this fabric is an upholstery type of fabric it does look and act like denim, just a bit cheaper as it was a short end roll got it for a dollar and there was a good amount on the roll too.
That's a beautiful and elegant Christmas stocking and I love it! Well done, Jenne.
Hugs, Lidia

Happy Stitching Brenda Lea :-)
All Beautiful!!!Love Stockings designs!!Well done
I love Christmas stockings Jenne and am never sick of seeing someone's beautiful stitching. This is perfect! Love the addition of the spotted bias binding. It's great to be able to make your own, I like to do my own too!. Love Chris
I use glass head pins when I press, the kind you bye is expensive, and thanks for kind words I use my janome500e most of the time, but sometimes we have war. I don't like it, and it don't like me. I keeping saying I will trade it, but with the virus, well I just stay home and fuss.
Never too many Christmas stocking! I enjoy seeing them all! I can't quite figure out if the binding /ties are a woven ones or just cloth with poka dots. Maybe I should put on my glasses!!
just bias binding with poka dots ,folded like what you bye, but made by hand so somewhat wider, then sewn very close to the edge. very easy to do .
Thanks for the info! It's the "very close to the edge" part that I always have trouble with.
