Your eyes look really irritated to me - but still really pretty!
Sorry you had to go through this. I hope you get relief and will see your preferred doctor.
Hope you get to see your proper doctor soon and have those lumps checked out. That was such a long wait. We are lucky here our doctors are pretty much on time. We both had to go last week. Lucky these days to get a face appointment. I do not like the phone ones. I ordered prescriptions over 2 week ago on a phone consultation and they had not been sent to the pharmacy. The receptionist said they may be in the mail. I said I had checked at the chemist before going to doctors. She went over and sorted through what looked like mail ready to post and found them. Goodness knows how long they had been waiting in the pile. I will not order any prescriptions on a phone consultation anymore. Sorry vent over LOL. Hope your eye improves over the weekend. Hugs
It is slowly getting better thank you. I can believe the story about your prescription and that is frustrating, to say the least.
My heart goes out to you Toogie. At my local doctor's surgery just down the road (about 300 metres) I wait outside, as I don't like sitting in Doctor's waiting rooms. Fortunately in my Opthalmologist's room about a 12 minute drive away you are only allowed to be there on your own (due to Covid) and your driver, who usually accompanies you has to stay outside waiting in the car.
Of course a long wait is not ideal, but these days there always seems to be long waits. I don't mind waiting too much as I would like to think that the Doctor is doing his best with the previous patient. I agree with you about the mask wearing, I can't breathe properly and want to constantly yawn, as I feel like I'm not getting enough oxygen coming in. You guys are in Summer and of course we will be going into ours in December, so I'm not looking forward to wearing it in Church. I do hope you can get in to see your regular Doctor, especially as those lumps are annoying you. Love the colour of your eyes you cutie! Love Chris
At our Drs we have to phone for an appointment, you are then phoned back sometimes a few days later first from a triage nurse and then if needed a Dr so this can take a week plus. We then phone the surgery as we arrive and your not to get out of the car until someone collects you and on entering the building temps are taken and as everywhere a general dousing in anti bac stuff. Then you get to see the person you have come to see... takes forever. And you have to wear your face mask at all times.
Oh! Toogie, we aren't anywhere near that stage at our surgery. We are very fortunate up here in Newcastle, no Covid. Love Chris
Chris our son hasn’t came in nearly 2 weeks because he said a guy came to his house the other day. Guy said he had been exposed to someone with Covid but they weren’t very sick. My son was aggravated and us too because the guy shouldn’t be out and about after being exposed. He could be a carrier and never develop symptoms. I don’t understand why some people never develop symptoms, some hardly sick and others the extreme, like my sis 2 months in hospital.
I would have felt UGH as well. Too bad that this office was not organized well enough. One hour wait is a ridiculous long time. Hope you get to see your regular doctor soon.
My husband says people should be able to deduct from their fee for having to wait. He said they wouldn’t overbook and keep people waiting as much.
Looks like it could be a blocked tear duct. Hopefully it is just an allergy and the meds will clear it up.
I would give it a week at most and if no better go back and see your own doctor.
I know what you mean about the masks being hard to breathe in. I had to take husband to a hospital appointment last week and waited 1 1/2 hours with masks on and he struggled to breathe after a while ( couldn't get enough air) and the waiting room was very very cold.
That's very scary. It's absurd that a doctor's office would allow such conditions in the waiting room at this time. And I agree with pennyhal2. You need to find out ASAP what is up with your eyes and those bumps too. Vision is not something to trifle with. Prayers for you.
Oh my! What an awful experience! I'm so sorry that the office was so poorly organized, especially with people not wearing masks correctly. I hope they fix that problem.
I hope you check in with your regular doctor right away when he gets back. Maybe make an appointment now so that you can see him as soon as possible. What concerns me is that you now have two diagnoses and two different meds. So, you need to know if both conditions can occur at the same time.
You can have problems with your eyes from rosacea-
Which I have had in the past
You can have eye irritation due to allergies.
That’s what this doctor thinks this time.
It’s not that I had two diagnoses yesterday. I just am not sure if she’s right THIS time.
In fairness to dr, maybe she thought I already knew about those bumps since she is not my regular eye dr. I didn’t and it has been a year since my last visit.
You are right about the waiting room though. The girl at the door checking temps should have stopped anymore from coming in
My heart goes out to you, along with lots of cyber hugs. You do look so miserable and waiting while wearing a mask only makes it harder. I can't blame you for becoming impatient. That was a crazy long wait. I hope that you see and feel improvement and soon after all of this.
Me too Karen. I will wait until Monday since the weekend is here. Hoping it will be better by then.
That eye looks so sore and I can certainly see the 2 bumps side by side. Hope you get better soon.
