I have glasses for the computer, sewing, driving and one pair which are multi focal , this last pair I was told would be fine for all I do, not the case, it was an expensive learning curve. One thing I never ever do is put them in the wrong place, even carry two cases for when I go shopping, by that I mean I change from Driving glasses to the Multi Focal. Please, please don't ask me about scissors. LOL
Every time we add a new pair of scissors to our household I think of Dennis! I think I have about 15 pair in my sewing room alone.
My goodness Caroline, this is certainly a fine collection. I'm lucky I've had surgery on my eyes and don't need glasses anymore. Although I do keep a pair for the fine font 8 in some papers. It's so nice to be able to read a telephone book and newspaper. Trevor is very regimented, he wears his all day and then at night places them in his office on the computer desk at the end of our home! I hope you are both well. Love Chris
I cannot say much. I cannot see without my glasses, so have a few pair. Problem is I sometimes cannot find them even though they are around my neck or on top of my head.LOL
I am so sorry your new machine is giving you problems. Hope you get the answer you need soon. No issues here with glasses just multiplying scissors still. 😊
My scissors multiply as do my husband specs. Didnt hear back from dealer but there is always tomorrow. He wasnt in wen I called originally
I keep readers by my bed, in the family room, in the kitchen, a pair in my purse and a pair in my craft room. Most of mine are old - but, it sure is nice to be able to reach for a pair when I need them! Tell your hubby, I understand completely! Hope you get that call you are waiting for!! Hugs, Laura
Thanks for your reply Laura. Husbands ability to loose his specs is beyond me who has mine firmly in place all day and a spare pair
My collection is nearly as good. Driving glasses in the car. Two pairs of tv glasses. My newest reading glasses around my neck and four other pairs in different rooms. It drives my husband mad. Sorry your new machine is playing up. I am sure you will get it sorted soon.
Gosh Sarah you appear to have as many as husband has. He drives me mad by dropping and stepping on, sitting on and loosing. Mine stay on all day and I have a spare pair too
Oh what fond memories I have of Dennis' reaction with our struggles to keep our scissors where they belonged. Funny, my handsome hubby has reading glasses here and there and computer glasses too. and we won't talk about his tools. hehe
I need to take my machine in too. It's telling me it wants some attention. The problem for me is I cannot wear a mask. I can't get enough oxygen and get light headed and lose my voice within a minute or two. So I hope you get some help soon with your new machine. I know you want to get stitching and have a long list of projects waiting to be done..
Cant take my machine anywhere due to lockdown and most help is on the phone due to distance. We have a special lanyard that people can wear to show they cant wear a mask. Is there anything similar with you?
I have seen some people wearing shields instead of masks. They look to fit right over any glasses you may wear. Hugs. Nan
That is quiet a collection!😂😂I am binding a quilt or two today.
