I put my husband's combs in. Nothing else besides our dishes. Hugs. Nan
WE put pet toys in ours. Not the plush ones, but any hard plastic toy. We even wash some of the smaller cages too!
But,when we do this it is just those things, no people dishes at the same time
Anything made from glass, china & stainless steel. Also tupperware & similar plastic boxes.NEVER animal bowls.
Found out that labels on store bought jars come off ,when put in the dishwasher .The labels glue gets dissolved & the paper dried label is next to the jar.The jars are then given to people to reuse .
Husband has a thing about animal bowls being in the dishwasher with our stuff.
New models of dishwashers have their elements covered now.Tupperware was only put in the top rack in the earlier dishwashers we had.My tupperware is from the 60's & some is still going strong but as they break they are being replaced with boxes made in NZ ( can't remember hoe to spell their name Sistame)
I put in just my dishes - but, on occasion, I will put a sponge in. Hugs, Laura
I guess I'm pretty traditional and just do dishes in the dishwasher.. But I tend to wash water glasses, wine glasses, anything with wood and sharp knives by hand.
Sink sponges - put in silverware container.
Not me, but some people wash their "gimme" caps there. Called gimme because the cap has advertising on the brim and is free.
I know someone who washes their sneakers or runners in there! Not me, only dishes. Love Chris
Mostly dishes. Often I ad the sponges and occasionally a dog toy.
Just the dishes and pans too. I have come across recipes for cooking a well foil wrapped salmon. Don’t often cook a whole salmon. It’s going to be interesting to see what replies you get
