Today seems to have been a very quiet day here on Cute so I hope everyone has been busy creating some great work to share in Projects

I have been so busy on something non-embroidery. I am putting together a family cookbook for our kiddos for Christmas. Pictures, hardcover, the works. But, editing the recipes, finding the pictures, etc is so time consuming. Each of the kids have sent me a recipe and a picture of them either cooking or eating their meal. These will be included plus our family recipes. It is a project that is taking up a bunch of my time! While, this is kinda fun - I wish I was sewing too!! Hugs to all, Laura

Oh this sounds like a good idea. Ashley text me yesterday to text her a picture of a recipe I had. This is a wonderful idea! May be next years gifts as I don’t think I could pull it off this year.

I have in mind to make some bowl cozies. Of course, I have had that in mind a week now and haven't made a start. Maybe today, I will be up to it. Sewing always helps me right down to my soul. Hey, a thought. A bowl cozie for 'soul' food.-lol

I had a peaceful day for the most part. I didn't work on any stitching but got the bathroom storage cleaned out and better organized. My hubby's immediate response was to say he could order more stuff which made me laugh. I'm trying not to watch the election news. It's making me so sad to see the awful cheating going on. I just feel the world gets more and more evil. So I try to remind myself it is God's Will that matters.

There is always some sort of housework to do which can get in the way of our machines

Hi Caroline, I've been busy helping Amy pack to move in here on Sunday. There house is due for demolition Monday 16th November, which is great so it gives them a week to get rid of all the stuff that's still in their home.
Tomorrow Trev's bed has to be wrapped up and taken to Mum's garage so they can bring their King bed in and put up the girls' bunks. Thank goodness we have the room to be able to do this. The cousins (Dana's girls) are so excited that Amy's girls are going to be living only a 5 minute drive away!!

I've been sewing a Santa table runner and got to the 4th colour change and thought something's not right. So I went back to look at what I had downloaded and I had accidentally hit a "pec" format instead of the "pes". I should have paid more attention to what I was doing. The company I was downloading it from usually has 2 Brother/Pfaff formats and I've done the wrong one. So I've turned the machine off in disgust and will tackle it tomorrow along with receiving more stuff from the kids when they drop things off! Love Chris
