I've never seen a tool like this before. I can see why it would be so handy for birds nests. I like to use the long wooden handle Q tips to clean the machines. Because of the longer stiffer handle, it reaches more areas in my machine. I hope more share their tips. I've learned some new tips today.
Now I have learned something new as I dont know about lon wooden handled Q tips
Most everybody knows this one, but I keep a lint roller at my machine for cleaning up finished projects. Oh, and ladies, my sewing store taught me this one - when you buy a cut piece of minky, shake it out a lot outside your house before taking it to the sewing room. But you were asking about tools.
That reminds me. I was once told to spray water-repellent on burlap to stop it from shedding. Works like a charm.
I too thought it looked a bit like a snake. Looks like it could be a very handy gadget.
Very sharpe, comes in two sizes and fits under the frame when cutting out from a birds nest
So, I am across the Pond .... what is a "cellos?"
A cello is a stringed musical instrument smaller than a bass, but much larger than a violin.
Husband repairs cellos and its part of his kit. 6 cellos and a double bass at once take up space...
I keep a silicone cookie sheet liner in my sewing room for a couple of uses--put it on your table under the hoop when hooping fabric and the hoop won't slip around and if you do fusible applique you can layer your pieces and iron them together on the sheet then when cool peel off and fuse to project. I got mine at Costco for about $15 for a package of 3. this really beats the price of Teflon sheets sold in quilt shops and the "hoop aid" from embroidery supplies.
I do not know if that qualifies, but I never use the brushes to clean the bobbin case, I use pipe cleaners instead.
Interesting your husband doing Cello repairs. At first look I thought you found a snake.
