watching the buds get larger and larger is a sight you will not see except about once a year.

Thanks. I love these flowers. I find my will bloom when I move it from the porch to inside when it cools down and again when it goes back on the porch. So I have gotten blooms around Thanksgiving and Easter. I am starting over again with a small pot and a few slips so I won't see many blooms this year. So I am very glad to see the beauty your plant is showing.

This is gorgeous Jenne. My mother has lots of these flowering Cacti, mostly in the pinks and whites. She had a massive flowering on them a couple of months ago. Ours tend to flower in Springtime here in Australia. Love Chris

This Christmas cactus is so pretty. I had one 40 years ago but mine was red when it bloomed. This is such a pretty color.

Absolutely beautiful.
Mine has small buds at the moment, I am sure it will be past its best around Christmas though. I had one for donkeys years that was always a month early, it died but luckily I had this offshoot that seems not to know what the name Crhistmas cactus means either..

well you must take care when the start to bloom if you move them, most of the time the blooms will fall off.

I put them outside in the summer and bring them in the garage for the winter. And yes I call it a Christmas cactus also.

You are right it is beautiful. Based on the unopened buds it also looks as if you will be able to enjoy it for a long time
