Wow, gorgeous bag and wonderful stich out, great work Chris!, hugs Maria =^..^=
You really overdid your self with this bag! I never thought to angle the sides down before. Thanks for posting this fabulous bag!
Hi Penny, it just falls that way due to it being 'bagged' out or straightening out the base so it sits flat, whatever it's called! Love Chris
Gorgeous bag, Chris......absolutely love it!
Thanks Vicki, as you would know a lot of work in these designs! Also a lot of sewing! Love Chris
Such a beautiful bag Chris. Lucky you to have a Spotlight Store so close. Wish one would open near me. Hugs
Hi Shirley, it's a magnificent store and I am so lucky to have it only a 5 minute drive from my place! Three sets of traffic lights to contend with isn't bad. If I go round the back way I only have two sets of traffic lights! Love Chris
Well I had never thought of making a bag with the stitch outs. Its beautiful. Stitched my designs out but not sewn together as other projects need to be done first.
Hi Caroline, that's the beauty of any design, we can make anything with them. It's all up to your imagination! Love Chris
Great job Chris, love everything about this bag, it will make a sensation at your Christmas Lunch venue! Hugs Roberta
I would say that the bag is perfect. Beautifully made and embroidered.
Gosh Mr n Mrs make me smile .They are so cute. Will done.
Wow! Your bag is brilliant! It shows the designs off so well. Congratulations! Good luck at the new Spotlight: it helps to have a Spotlight store just 4 minutes away!!
Hi Bev, I was there again today and just as busy. Thanks for commenting Bev, love Chris
It was a great idea making them into a bag - and during the holidays, It is just darling and so very festive!!! You did a wonderful job of stitching and designing your bag!! Hugs, Laura
Thanks Laura, it wasn't an easy task, but I got there in the end. Love Chris
Love the santa bag, so festive. Blocks are lovely and your fabric choice.
Hi Cuties, this is for Barb (babash) . I got help from the SP team and we finally worked out it was due to the colour sort ticked little box on the EXPORT section. So happy to know that, because it happened a lot with their designs and because I'm not a quitter I just would work around the issues!!! Anyway it's now sorted out. Love Chris
That looks so festive will turn heads for sure.
Did you get the problem with the instructions sorted out? Just wondering as a lot of us bought the pattern and would be good to know.
Did you have a bag pattern for the shape I see it is narrow down the bottom.
I think it is very nice and a good use of your hard work. Well done.
Hi Barb, yes, they got back to me. I wrote on SP''s FB page what had happened. It's to do with my software Premier 2+ - when I go to EXPORT the design to a USB, there is a little box (I've never noticed it before) with a tick symbol in a box called colour sort. On my main computer I don't use the colour sort option which is in the task bar, but it is in the EXPORT box. I'll try and show you what I mean. They were wonderful and it sorted it out straight away. Love Chris
I love what you decided to make with these! You know how I love to make bags, too! This bag is pretty for the holidays because it should cheer someone up just looking at it. 5 * job!
Thanks Toogie, it was a matter of what can I do with the sewouts!!. I already made a beautiful Poinsettia table runner for this year's ladies luncheon, so a bag was great. It will be a real conversation starter, I am sure. Love Chris
Beautiful and a good use for the Mrs. Santa without nose. (yes, i have seen your comment on the SweetPea Site.)
Hi Barbel, I was so impressed with their customer service. It just goes to show perseverance pays off in the end. Love Chris
You are amazing! What a fun bag to take with you since it will fit a lot of goodies. I know it is going to attract a lot of attention. Sometimes, when I know I have made a mistake, I try not to fix it to remind myself that only God is perfect. It's a hard thing for me to do. It's still a learning experience for me.
I hear you Karen, that's why I didn't bother to try and rescue it! Love Chris
