If first you don't succeed try try again

Isn't it great to be human and making mistakes! I would have kept the 1st one too. Too pretty to toss. I hope you do make another one for yourself.

I think it happens to us all at one time or another. We just have to laugh at our own self, when sometimes you just want to pull on your hair or that is me at times... Love your fabric and it did turn out a good one! This might just help me to remember to think it through 2 time and sew once. I do hate it when this happens. Learning is so much fun ... All in all Good Work in the end.

I see what you meant. Things like this boo boo may discourage others but not for people like us Cuties! Both fabrics are pretty and glad you got it worked out.

Been there, done that too! I like how you did the lining so that it shows a little bit around the opening. It sort of acts like a nice little trim. Am I correct in that you made your own pattern?

Yes and no. I did make my own pattern following instruction from a YouTube video. Fit was perfect and I love the lining.

I hope you had some more of the Purple fabric as it is so nice.
Shame the opening went the wrong way. Cut the cardboard right around the top of the box and leave the sides and bottom intact and you can still use the cover.

Ha, ha I think everyone that ever dealt with a embroidery machines has done what you did. I was so surprised when I turned that Kleenex cover inside out and realized what had happened.
