You must have the patience of a saint, as they say! Thirty five?...would that be about 10,000 stitches each? WOW! They look marvelous and know the recipients will be thrilled. What size are they? Neat work!
Thank you. They are 2.06" x 3.84" You could just get two in a 100x100 hoop if you turn one upside down.
Thank you so much for that, can I buy them any way? Thanks Virginia
The projects area of the site is for Cuties to show photos of the work we have completed. The site covers people from all over the world. The only designs that are available here are the designs that you can buy either by being a member and then you can download everything while your membership lasts or you can buy individual designs. All the work in this the projects area is from many different sites including Cute. I am sure that there will be sites selling similar designs to these. Apologies if I have said something that your already aware of
HI I am a long time member but I do not know how to put your beautiful crosses in my basket. Please help me Thank Virginia
I am sorry, but you can't put it in your basket as this is not a design to download but a picture of a project.
Well Martine I hope the 35 appreciated your great work. These are beautiful and I admire your patience at accepting such a time consuming project
It was more a question of me and my big mouth :) I know there are quite a few grey heads but that are the ones that come to church and I forgot there are far more house bound...
I wish I could give you more stars for this project so willingly executed! I am sure there is a new page in your book in Heaven!!
They will be treasured. Love the gold trimmings and the sparkling designs.
They are lovely!
That many stitches at that slow speed would have me crossing my eyes or needing tooth picks to keep my eyes open. I've done large lots before. If only we could leave the machine and trust it would be good...
Problem with my 4-needle is that it does neither warn nor stop when a bobbin runs out. And of course it does, half way #5. I digitised an automatic stop before colour 2, should have made one after cross #4. Will do next time.
What a wonderful project! I'm sure the recipients wll appreciate them! My neighbor makes her own Christmas cardsI I made several of Sonia's Christmas Angel for her and her prayer group. Looking at yours, I should have put a loop on the top! Did you add the loop or did it come with the design? Guess a little glue/ribbon would work.
I digitised the design, loop included. The loop is made by the first 50 stitches or so, that way it is not only nicely secured but I can also easily skip it if I would like to embroider it on fabric.
Beautiful and you are so kind to make these for your church. I love the added gold.
These are all gorgeous Martine. I was thinking of doing something similar, but my “best” machine is in having a good service!!! I’ve got my Brother packed away too as I’ve got my Ladies luncheon on Monday, so the house is getting ready for that. So that means a neat and tidy back back sewing room!!! Your recipients will love these. Love Chris
Beautiful Bookmarks!! The gold was an excellent choice.
Those are beautiful and with different designs so they are individual. I agree with the others each will be lovingly received.
Love your bookmarks. Now we need to make one for you. After making 35 I am sure you are tired of them. That would happen to me. Well done 😊
I could get 7 in one hooping, but after a mishap with the third lot (which I had to throw away) I did not dare leave the room and then it became quite boring:)
I've had that problem too. Throwing it away is the only solution to that problem.
They are lovely and I know the 35 recipients will be smiling as they receive their gift. I hope you managed to make yourself something nice too.
