I have been using some of the wood hand embroidery frames the old round kind, I used what I had in the size I needed, so hubby got some more for me, but there color is very light I like the darker wood look so, I use some "Old English Furniture Polish " I have had it for ages , it work great.

Clever idea using the Old English to darken the wood.

I got a stash of these embroidery frames in about 4 sizes from Salvation Army store and have them neatly stored in my sewing room for future endeavors. They had piled them all in a box and put a box price so cheap, I thought it was per hoop. Silly me!
