These are adorable! Years ago I made something similar for my son from a regular craft sewing pattern but an in the hoop design is so much easier. Does the cutie who digitized this have a website where one can go to buy the design?
I have no idea but I don’t think she does. I thought I had an old sewing pattern Of a frog but it was dinosaurs. Yes, ITH was much quicker and eyes much nicer.
Your froggies are adorable. A friend gave me a frog years ago, he still hangs around my sewing area. Great job!
Thanks, I hope Gus likes him as much as the real frogs fascinate him and I am sure he will! It is such a joy to see little things like a rain frog on a window screen make him squeal with excitement, no matter how many times he sees them!
Toogie, Pose them about 7 more poses and places and write him a book about the Frog's Adventure for Christmas! Like you have nothing to do. But, your three pictures inspired me...
I was going to show them these pictures of the 'cousin frogs'. Just like them, the real cousins, these cousin frogs are having their own adventures.-lol
Oh Toogie - (and you sweet Cutie digitizer), you did such a good job on these - I love how they turned out. What did you fill them with? They look like it is finally fun to hold a frog!!! LOL Hugs, Laura
They are stuffed with Poly-fil Poly-Pellets. I had purchased a bag a while back, because my bag was running low. However, I didn't have to open it, because I 'found' a whole bag in a box marked craft supplies. It took almost nothing, very little, to fill these. The pellets make you able to pose them, compared to just fiberfill stuffing. Martine did an excellent job with the digitizing.
What darling little frogs! Glad a Cuttie was able to help you out. The kids will love them!
Stunning designs!!!Love the Frogs...Well done
Cutie to the rescue. You could have not found a better file then this one. They turned out adorable.
I thought how cute it would be to add them a Santa hat! I'm running out of time, because my ideas and want to's out weigh my time to's.
OMG, these are just so adorable....great job, Toogie....
I wanted something small enough to fit in a stocking. Gus likes to carry/hold something in his hand all the time. With the pellets I put in, not overstuffed, I think it's got just enough for him to wrap his little hand around. He and Rylan are four and Dawson is one. Dawson likes dogs but I'm hoping they all like these frogs! I sure do-
thanks Vicki- I hope this next year will get all your health issues taken care of. Merry Christmas!-Toogie
You have been busy! they look great. Nice pictures!
ps, the second and third wasn't as hard to turn RSO. I paid more attention to the turns & directions, of the legs and feet. I almost used this fabric they are lying on for the underside but I'm glad I didn't. It's a batik and I think would be too hard to turn RSO. The 'ankles and wrist' (do frogs have ankles and wrist?-lol) are so narrow, but once you get it started through, well it's a breeze. Thanks again, the boys will have fun -Toogie
