I used my blue burlap the other day, then today I got to use the natural color.....I should have used a bit darker thread on the body of the owl, but in person you can see it much better.....I am going to suggest to Andi that she buy some of those wooden embroidery hoops for hand embroidery, to frame these in for her girls.......This one is called Deer Hoot and is up on my website now....

Now, that's an original take on a reindeer! Even owls can have antlers! All the little detailing on the feet, hat, and body really give a lot of interest to this little guy. Love him!

Now that's a well decorated owl! I thinks she looks a bit down because it's hard to smile when you have a beak rather than lips.
