Are there any free Barbie doll patterns on the net ?Every else seems to be there .
There are and I had thought about that, but that won’t help me right now. My printer needs ink!😩
I did just find all of them though! Thanks for trying to help!
How precious, this little set. Brings back memories of other times.
I was looking at the close ups. I guess for hand stitching my satin stitching is not too bad. You can see where I tied off my thread when I ran out, though. Yes, I know this has to be at least 14 or 15 years ago, before I learned machine embroidery.
As far as finding the big envelop of doll pattern maybe this will refresh your memory. I knew I had read just recently a post of yours about sewing some doll cloth. Who knows maybe..........
Nope, but tell you what else I found, I feel like it's Christmas to Me!
For TWO YEARS I couldn't think of where in the world, I put some quilting clamps that Grayson ordered, for me. I haven't really searched for them, except obvious places, where the other only TWO I have are....now I have SIX more!-lol- Can you imagine how many big quilts I have made without these in the last two years!!!!
I have a vintage rotating rack, like supplies in stores were on. I keep patterns in Zip-lock bags on the hooks. Well, evidently the clamp package has been hanging on one of those hooks in back, with the Old Fashioned Baby patterns, double seated panty patterns, etc....Nora may not get a surprise as good as I got.-lol
Well, I would "cheat" and digitize the design on the diaper cover...
Have at it! -lol- I suppose I could still make the cover and wash the markings out, but no little girls expected right now. You see I also have a bonnet brim marked out.
What a beautiful set! I hope you do manage to finish it. What a family heirloom it would make. I still enjoy hand embroidery, I admit. Isn't it amazing what we find when we are searching for something else.
Yes, I found the Wedding Ring pattern and plastic templates that I told clintonmiss22 that I would have to buy rulers for, if I were to make one. I didn't buy this, so someone passed it on to me with a folder of 2 or 3 more patterns and plastic temps for. Still no Barbies. I don't want to root too much and make a mess but I just can't imagine where they are. It's a clear envelope with all tiny pieces inside....
Well Toogie what a surprise seeing this as I have one the same that my mother embroidered for either me or my brother. It was in the dolls dressing up bag. The time and patience that was spent on hand embroidery and we now zap stuff in a minute or two. Hope you find the Barbie patterns as its frustrating to not be able to find stuff you know you have. I bought a staple gun last week and then found the one I had lost
I think that is the reason I never finished this set. I found machine embroidery!
Still haven't found them, I have so many patterns, and homemade copies too, from smocking graphs, patterns, dolls all sizes, etc. I don't know why I would have moved these Barbie patterns, because when Avery was born, I used the 18 inch doll patterns to make her clothes. I haven't made any Barbie clothes in years, as Nora inherited her mom's suitcase full....I may just have to give up and think of something else, Avery's and Mason's stockings.
I do hope clintonmiss22 sees this! Look what else I found!-lol- templates and pattern!!!
I see! It's amazing what we find when we aren't looking for that particular item. This reminds me that I need to ask my nephew for a pic of the quilt he, hopefully, found someone to make.
