Sometimes you just gotta stand in the doorway and call it out, ROFL!!! It will show up, ROFL ... It works for me most of the time ... FIESTA ANYHOW ;D
I know the feeling. I will put it here, I will remember where I put it, nope now where in the heck is it!
If I put something away without thing on it, I may never find it. welcome! to the human club. hehe
I hope by now you have found your missing hoop. I've got so many hoops as I've kept the ones from my first Husqvarna which of course don't fit the new Ruby Royale! Then there's the Brother hoops which have a different slider, I wish all hoops were the same. Love Chris
MY son who was very creative, inventive (and organized in his opinion) made a big plaque for his desk from a saying he found somewhere. It was to warn me not to try cleaning it-----
"A creative mind is seldom tidy!"
You've probably found your hoop already so happy embroidering !
My two sewing rooms (yes, I have two which means double the mess) and I used be bothered by the mess I work in until I say a photo of Albert Einstein's office!!! Papers all over the place, things hanging off the shelf, stuff on the floor, a very messy desk etc. I've come to accept the fact that I need a mess to be creative and I am not alone! My husband (the engineer) has a perfectly tidy room with everything in it's proper place. Go figure.
At least you're not buying things because your forget you have already bought them. I am now the proud owner of 2 new A1 (lge) cutting mats, two sets of bias binder makers, duplicate yardages of fabric (but never the one I want) and the list goes on.
My brains a big damaged from a health problem so not entirely my fault but......................
I also often buy the same embroidery files. Not all companies let you know you already bought it.
I've had that problem too. Now, I use the explorer search button. I put the name or number of the design and it searches my computer and tells me if I have it and where it is located. I learned to save my searches in case I need to look in more places.
I hoped you laughed - you will find it! And yes, my craft room is a mess!! Last year, my 6 year old Granddaughter was "hanging out" with me in my craft room and she spilled a container of snaps (which were all sorted out by color in little cubbies). She started to cry and I told her no worries - we needed to have a good laugh about it - we'd get it all cleaned up. You will find your frame!!! Hugs, Laura
I had to laugh like that, with me always the scissors and massbands disappear, then I voluntarily clean up and find them mostly again . . . I think creative people are always a bit chaotic, it's me - LOL
Ohhh, how frustrating! Hopefully your hoop isn't partying with my scissors. The good news is with 2 hoops of the same size, you can have the next hooped and ready while the first is stitching out. But in the meantime, it sure doesn't help when you are trying to get projects finished. And I'm not going to say I'll get my room cleaned up before you straighten up yours. I'm sure I would lose. hehe
I am sorry but I laughed. I know you are probably not laughing but this reminds me of the multiple purchases we made. Also I find it reassuring that I am not alone where things like this happens. I am always amazed that an item is always in my site except when I need it.
