We can't talk politics on here, but can we talk prayer? Many American Cuties in our group are heartbroken by the events of today. We need prayer for our leaders, our nation, our government, our families, our way of life. And the hardest of all, pray for your enemy, whatever and whoever that may be. The other. The one you dislike, or fear.

I am saddened also but this type of behavior has been going on for over a year now! Please remember we had a SCOTUS hearing and the capital also got stormed that day but the only difference was it was a different political party who did it in 2017 and the people who did it then were praised as warriors! The Censorship that is happening here now is very scary and we are on a very dangerous path! The country is very divided but only one party gets punished! I just want both sides to be treated equally and that is NOT the case! The sad part is when the first Amendment for some has been stolen! 6 people own all of our media and for 4 years the truth has not been reported accurately and now that the other side has won they call for unity sadly I KNOW that will NOT be happening!

We need prayer! This is a terrible time in our country's history. I am tempted to say how I believe, but that would cause turmoil here and that is the last thing we need here! please pray that our constitution survives this. Those who are not Americans, please know that the few do not represent the rest - no matter which side you are on. Thank you for the prayers. It seems like we are praying all day long - praying without ceasing!

Praying is good for the soul, specially when one feels helpless. Asking God to bring wisdom and compassion to our nations leaders can never be wrong. May we find peace that all is in Gods hand.

I love each of tour words, so sad what is happing in our great country, But "prayer changes things" so let us kept praying the prayer of the upright availeth much.

Prayers going up since yesterday. I am so upset at what is happening to our country and how a small group of radicals thugs can do this to our capitol and disrupt the government process.

I have stood on those steps of our nations capitol building and been inside twice in my life. It gave me peace and respect for our country, government, and our constitution. Never would I have imagined what happened yesterday. Right now it is hard for me to pray for those thugs who desecrated our Capitol building, and put the lives of many in fear. Our governor's life was threatened by some of the same group and they will continue to entice and exist. My prayers are for the future of our great country.

I think all of us who are Christian (or non Christian) God fearing, caring women are distressed by what is happening in the USA. I personally am heartsick by the events over the past few days and I pray that common sense and peace prevails. Thanks for posting Betsey, we will keep the USA in our daily prayers. Love Chris
