I have pe 10 also because of a new computer, up from 7, the only difference is in the stitches use can use triple , stem, blanket, candle wicking, & stem stitches, also having more control over fill stitch, if my computer has not died I would still be using pe 7...wendy
I have pe5...since 2003, and it does all I need. I have pe10 because of Win10, but don't use that computer and pe10 only confuses me. I'm still using Win7, so pe5 works for me. My needs are simple, and 5 is adequate. I have kept two laptops with XP OS, so I'm good til my toes turn up.
I have always used Husqvarna software. Started with 3D upgraded to 4D, 5D and 6D. I now have Premier +2 Ultra and I do not think I will upgrade to another if offered.
I have Husqvarna software too, started with an even earlier version, upgraded to 3D, then bought 5D (gave 3D to my daughter) and upgraded to 6D. Stopped upgrading as I don't think it necessary.
I've got the Husqvarna software Premier+2 as well and I won't be upgrading. I don't use much of it anyway. Love Chris
I have PE Next or PE9. Unfortunately, I found it too labor intensive to achieve what I wanted to digitize compared to the other three programs I have. I gave up on it and now only use it to split designs for my Baby Lock Valiant...for me one of the biggest waste of monies I have spent. Hindsight being 20/20 I should not have made the investment. It was the most expensive and least effective of all of the software programs I own. Also, if you want the latest PE-11, there is no upgrade available for it...it would need to be a total new purchase...another nail in the coffin for me.
