Update-Yea!!! I had enough of all my fabrics to complete #4 top. Finally ! I haven’t got my other fabrics yet for #2 and #3 But when I do I will have to go back and complete them. I’m not sure if I’ll start #5 tomorrow or wait. I am ahead of my time I allowed myself. I wanted to make all 5 tops this month so I can start my own, well not really mine, but you know what I mean. This was a simple Bow Tie pattern so it went fast. I like it from all angles.

Hello Cuties, this is the third QOV top I started this year and the second one I ran out of enough fabric😩 I am no quitter, but it sure is disappointing, when you are trying to complete a top. I need 12 more corner off white squares. Sharon has some, so now I wait until I can get them.....
With these colors, this will be for an Army veteran and will have framed preprinted alternate blocks in between the star blocks.
So with not much enthusiasm I am thinking of starting yet another top. I would be more excited to start, if I knew for certain this package had all the fabric I needed.
Wish me luck! Have a great day embroidering, sewing or whatever you do. Wishing you all good health-Toogie

Thank you Suzanna, I just don't like going back to finish something. Like Karen said, my momentum was going good and then I had to halt. It's so disappointing when you want to see it complete.

This quilt will be so wonderful - while it is a chore to get the fabric you need - when it is finished, you will be so proud and pleased! Hugs to you, Laura

Yes, I agree with you. I like a different pattern and the colors are a change too, although you can't get tired of the ole Red, White and Blue!

Oh Toogie, I can understand your frustration. That is so disappointing to start a project and not be able to maintain your forward momentum because there is not enough fabric. Keep your chin up and know this beautiful quilt will get finished and the recipient will be delighted with it. I hope your day will get better. I am happily spending the day doing fun things like laundry and some cleaning.

I just started another one the Bow Tie quilt. Although this seems to be straight forward, I have not made this pattern. I just hope this one has enough fabric included to get me to the finish.:)
Cleaning is something I need to do, too. Laundry is not that pressing, pun intended-lol-, as it's just us two and I have lots of PJ's and gowns-lol lol

Toogie, I have lots and lots of off-whites. Would you like for me to send a few? I LOVE ohio star! Beautiful points - you are a point master!

While I do appreciate your offer, Sharon has me some bagged up, ready to send, but thank you. I just don’t like having to work on two, or now three, at the same time. I like to get them done!😁
