Update on Caden. Caden is slowly improving. He is no longer self harming or talks of suicide. His "demon" Kyle has not made any appearances since November, so we are all praying that he is over the hump. He started back to school last week and was pretty anxious being around so many people. The school has allowed him to have some fidget toys with him and class and gave him a hall pass to go to the office if he needs some quiet time.. This week he was upset that he only got an 87 percent on a math test!!! (If it was me, I'd be jumping for joy) We told him that he should be happy, because he has only been back to school for a week after missing 10 weeks of school and still managed to get an 87. That is awesome. He then told us that he got all the answers right but didn't show all his work!!!!! I can not express to all the Cuties how much all of your caring and support and above all else, your prayers have meant to our family. Cuties are such wonderful friends and family. Again, thank you.

HI Debbie, that is encouraging news and I pray that Caden continues to improve. Prayers for you all. Tell him from me that 87% is brilliant. I only got 30% in my second year of high school and never did maths again! I concentrated on my love of sewing, cooking and typing/shorthand! Love Chris

I can't remember if you are a USA Cutie or not. If you are, get him a IEP or 504. He may not need to do the math work to get credit. If he can show work on one type of problem (just to show he knows how to do it) and then give the correct answer for the rest-- they may be able to accommodate that. Students with high anxiety need kindness and understanding. Caden has enough on his plate...
Prayers continue

Please tell Caden I continue to pray for him, his sister, mother and grandmother. And I am sooo PROUD of him getting an 87 on his math test. He is far better at math than I am, for sure.
And our support and prayers continue for you and your family. Hugs to you all.

Just shows lots of love and patience can do wonders. He probably didn't want to do all the answers correct as he was worried he would be praised in class for his achievement. Maybe a word with the teacher to not draw too much attention to him if that is what he is worried about.
