Wow, so many quilts in such a short time, I am embarrassed. I never tire of looking at anything you do.
Thank you very much, glad you enjoy them..... Why should you be embarrassed? I don't understand, did I miss something?
WOW! When you put your foot on the gas, you really go fast! These are great quilts and I'm sure that whoever gets one will love having it!
just out standing work , they are all sew beautiful, But then I love quilts, do u ever do any hand applique or machine applique? I have several I have done and at one time the hand quilting too, But not in a good while. Hands are getting old, fingers are not a nibble as they once were.
This is the only quilt that comes to mind with machine embroidery.

Thank you for looking. I love quilts, too. I also love making them. Guess it's in my genes, my grandmother always was working on a quilt.
Looking at reminds me of the one I done for my church auction to help pay the loan on our church I embroidery names with people paying for the names to be put on the quilt then when finish we auctioned off the quilt making the quilt raise quite of bet, I did all the work only I had it machine quilted so it would not take so long to do.
Outstanding effort, once again. I don't know how you do all that you do with these quilts. Are these all your fabrics Toogie, or is this some of your friend's fabrics that your got from her car when you met out the back of the KC hall? However, or wherever you get your fabrics, you always seem to have enough to make a good sized quilt. Love Chris
Our foundation, or QOV sewing group, relies on dues and donations, whether it's monetary or supplies. Everything is accounted for. Scheila keeps very good records and Sharon stores all the fabrics. She also orders all the batting and sends to our quilters that have the big set ups, for the framed long arms. Sometimes Sharon cuts kits for a quilt and bags it up with a pattern for a member. Other times she cuts yardage the pattern requires and you cut your own. So no, it's not my fabric or another members personal fabric.
Wow, Toogie, they look great. I bet you clean as fast as you sew and show us another one shortly. lol.
Thanks-lol- I only wish I could clean as quick. Right now can't do anything. I hurt my old knee (the other one is just as old-lol) and now my back is hurting because of the way I'm walking, I guess.
Wow that's an impressive achievement Toogie, you must have worked almost night and day. Congratulations
Not really, just long days. Remember I am used to sitting at a machine for 8 hours, because I once worked at a sewing factory. Of course, since I am my own boss at home-lol-I have longer lunch and bathroom breaks, even walks outside breaks-lol-thanks!
I love seeing your quilts! Have you ever tried one in-the-hoop? You are so fast doing them on your sewing machine - maybe ith would slow you down! I keep wanting to try one in-the-hoop. My house needs a cleaning too and I am not half as productive as you! Hugs!
No I’m not interested making them in the hoop. That would be slower and take forever too on my 5x7
Toogie I am not going to tire of seeing your quilt tops. You seem to achieve a great amount each day and regularly make me wonder just what I have done in a day. You really are a star doing the work that you do for others
It is just something I love to do and happy to do. I have so many I want to do but some I haven’t figured out yet.
I could never tire of seeing your quilt tops and knowing the healing they help bring. I know how much work you put into them and how much the men and their families will appreciate them. So don't stop!
Thanks Karen I & we appreciate these men and women to no end.
I do have to stop for just a while. If I do not dust and mop soon, we will have to call a bulldozer guy over😖well maybe I am exaggerating a little but I do wanna clean so I can start again.😂
Love to see your beautiful quilts, don't stop showing what you do. It would take me twelve months to finish even one.
At least in a year you would have one, so go for it! Thanks and the border or darker color in the quilt are green, though they look black here.
Toogie, they are so beautiful, what a feat, 5 in 19 days. This would have probably taken me a couple of months! LOL
I make cancer quilts, and I've just finished 2 scrap quilt tops, taken me more than a month.
I would love to see your quilts! My hubby and I love scrappy, too. I have never pieced this many at once but as I got the fabrics before Christmas I wanted to get them done. If you knew how bad I need to dust my furniture you’d realize why I wanted to finish them all. Do you find your room house dustier because of all the lint from the fabric cuttings? I do. I think my central AC must filter it in all my rooms-lol
Ps. The other 3 tops are here in Sewing, if you’d care to look. I really am serious when I say I would love to see yours.
Yes Toogie, my sewing room does get dusty, and there are always threads on the floor. The rest of the house isn't too bad as my sewing room is downstairs, close to laundry and the office, so I get a lot of exercise going up and down stairs if I have something on the stove or in the oven that needs checking!! Only 6 steps (split level),but I have a badly torn meniscus, so I can't run up anymore!
I'll try to post some photos of my scrap quilts.
