You know I often make jackets out of sweat shirts and knit fabrics, knit shirt etc, I went to "you tube" just checking to see what others were making, I did not think there things look good at all, maybe just not my style. no inspiration, I guess it up to my poor brain to come up with what is next.

I'm with the others Jenne, your work is exceptional. I'd love to see your styles on something like YouTube. I am looking forward to seeing your next project on here though. Love Chris

Thanks, I always strive to create something that I am not ashamed, to show others inside as well as outside.

I agree with you Jenne. Your work is so neat and professional looking a lot of the You tubes ones are not.
When I was learning to sew my Mother in law ( who was an excellent dressmaker) said try to be as neat as you can so if you get dressed in the dark and put your clothes on inside out you will still look good.
I only commented to Hubby just recently while looking at clothes in a shop window how home made they looked.

I was watching one lady, did show anything but her hands and she cut one sleeve longer than the other, and I agree with your Mother-in-law, why create something just sloped together?

Maybe you need to have a You Tube channel to inspire others. You work to such a high standard. Oops! Just peeked below and saw asterixsew said basically the same thing! Lots of us are in your fan club.

I have never done anything like a you tube video, so not sure how you would go about this, But that would be fun to try. I love teaching people how to sew, quilt and do different stitches, I taught a class in quilting at our Senior Center for about 20yrs we have great fun until Covid-19 came along and disrupted everything.

Your work is always excellent and l love seeing what you create so why not show your work on YouTube and inspire others?

Thanks, I am working on a jacket, the golf shirts were given to me, so no choosing the colors or size therefore not lot of style can be made from these, just something simple the amount of fabric is very limited unless the T shirt or sweat shirt is very large,
