Wow! Mary these all look fabulous and I particularly love the first one. The way the squares are highlighted with the white really make them pop out at you. Good on you for donating these to the Cancer Council of Australia. It is such a great cause. Love Chris
Great quilts and a great way to use up scraps. Happy Stitching :-)
Nice job on all of these...I am sure they will be loved by their recipients!
I came back to look and save your top quilt picture on my computer.I originally looked from my IPhone. I also was able to look close up at the first one. I thought the navy blue blocks were one piece and framed with the white and the scrappy strips were like sashing, but I see in the close up I was wrong. I like how the corners make an hour glass look. I will have to try this one day, but not today. I am working on a scrappy one now.
Toogie, if you look at Pinterest under scrappy quilts, you will find it, and instructions, although it's pretty straightforward.
I love them all. you did an excellent job on those. Are you goning to quilt them yourself?
No I won't be quilting myself. I am part of "Comfort quilts for cancer", and I send the tops to them where they get quilted, (I think one of the ladies has a longarm) bound, and donated to cancer sufferers all over Australia.
Well done - a great way to use up scraps!! These are wonderful!
Scrappies are my favorite! They give my eye something new to see everywhere I look! Nicely done!
Love them all! I just got done cutting out pieces for a queen quilt yesterday and used from my yardage. It felt good using what I had on hand but a bit depressing to use up all of some of the fabrics! lol When I do scrap quilts, it feels like my scraps start to produce more instead of get smaller. Thank you, I know what you mean, scraps seem to multiply the minute you turn your back!
I have a queen size jelly roll quilt, back from the quilter, on my table waiting for the binding to be put on. This one will be going on our bed.
It is great to see them come together when working with scraps. I have yet to make one for our bed!!! They all have gone for gifts or are just twin size lol
You did a great job and motivated me to get going again. These 3 are wonderful examples of using up scraps. I might steel the idea. 😊
Thank you, I got my ideas from Pinterest.
I like the fact that the scraps can be of any width, and they can all be used up.
These are just incredible!! I love how you used the color of each scrap and they go so well together! Thank you for doing these!

Thank you, I tried to grab out of the bag as they came, but sometimes I had to match them, I just can't help myself!
Oh I love them! I like scrappy too and I especially love the top one. Great work, too! Did you use a tumbler ruler or something else on the last one? All look great!
Thank you, the top one is my favourite too.
I used a whirligig template for the tumbler quilt, just put it on the fold.
