In the Garden........................And He walks with me, and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own.............................................
I came across these albums, among others, that I thought would jolt a few memories- lol
The Dick Clark Yearbook has very interesting news of each year from 53-73-I’m surprised it’s still in good shape.
I always have a song in my head, but it changes quite frequently. The one playing most often today is "This is my Father's World." Usually it's a rock song or from a musical, but this is one of the four pieces our bell choir is rehearsing.
I like catching a song, nothing today though. I sing them to hubby. Lol! I will probably get your songs stuck now. I will let you know tomorrow.
Hi Toogie, every day "Good Vibrations" by The Beachboys. It's my theme song and I have it as my song on my Iphone! All the family know it's my signature tune!! Love Chris
I remember before I knew hubby well, his birthday is a month before mine, so I got him a Beachboy's album. I listened to them. He gave me a Loretta Lynn album the next month for mine-lol-He let me know right away he was into Country, by doing that.-lol
Haven't had a song stuck in my head for a long time. Now since you posted yours it probably will be with me the rest of the day. 😊
That is usually how it happens. I would tell my driver, when I had a song that would go over and over in my head, then we'd get further into our route and she'd say now it's stuck in her head!-lol
Haven't been stuck on one song in a long time, but so glad you wake up with a song in your heart, especially these days. Glad to see the quilting continues at your house.
I just dropped off, at a distance, the 5 tops I had made for QOV. It's a good hours drive one way to Sharon's house, but it did hubby and I both good just to ride. We saw a lot of the trees that fell during the hurricanes. In the winter you can see through the destruction for a long way. Sad
Amazing how different woods are in winter. I can see my back neighbor this time of year, but nine months of the year, I forget she's back there - a long way through the woods.
Even my yard and I'm sure yours too, you see the seasons change everything so much. All our grass looks dead right now but the field on the side is planted for the cows and is so pretty and green. Sure makes a pretty sight.
When the leaves are off the trees in winter as now, it sure opens up a sight line, but sure am glad when they come back green and shade us in the summer.
