Good for you for taking the time to organize. I have the time but it is used on embroidery sites instead . I use, Goody Ouchless Ponytailers - 42 count, Walmart # 261632 The price is about $2, on spools of thread and bobbins to avoid the unraveling problem. I was unable to add a link so you could see the item, but I must not know how, it was not accecpted.
Thanks for your reply. Most of this was done while stitching. I live in the UK so no Walmart and as I live in a rural bit of the UK not many large supermarkets either
I live in a small town and take it for granted that everyone has a supermarket with just short drive. I will admit that living here in the States has me spoiled.
You have done a good job on sorting them out but it looks as if you have used sticky tape to secure the threads. This could be a future problem I had a reel of embroidery thread given to me that had a sticky price tag on it and I had to unwind a lot of thread because it got sticky. Maybe use cling film lunch wrap instead.
I have used a surgical tape to hold these together not a sticky tape. Thanks for your concern
I love those threads, but they do tend to unravel. Like you I have mine sorted now and have solved that problem. Hugs
Well done. Now you know just where to reach in a hurry. Happy stitching.
Yes this type of threads are easy to reach. I also have a 3 draw chest full - colour sorted too and some boxes of 5000 m reels. Happy stitching too
Oh I need you at my house, you can help me tidy my whole house I have been going to decluter the house.
Jenne just because I tidied these up doesnt mean I have a tidy house. My sewing room is often hazardous to walk across due to my carefully keeping essentials there
OMG....I need you to come visit me.....what a great and tidious job you have done!!
Thanks and yes it would be good to come for a visit but in the better weather and when the covid situation improves
Those threads look so pretty and colorful. Looks to me like a great organization.
